Won't agree to it that she is a heartless or selfish but yes she was already talking with Arjun and her concentration was on him as it was regarding that injection.so yes she didn't see or hear what he said and also if she was really selfish then uske baad jake mr mallik ko thank you nhi kehti for everything deva k kiya voh uski memsaab hei but Tara k liye voh Mr Mallik uske boss heu aur dusre side Arjun her friend agar deva hei karke usko pata hota toh Deva k alawa she won't even think about anyone.
