And if the kids of the 4th, 5th and 6th wives were born after Ashok's exile, shouldn't they all be children, around or under 10?

Post-leap Sushim is as unappetising as post-leap Ashok.

Perhaps these wives and their children were out of palace like Subrasi and Drupad.😕

Couldn't catch the last two episodes because of my father's hopitalisation. Guys, do pray for him; he needs all the best wishes one can get.
On topic, CAS Ashok was somebody who, although not anywhere near the real-life cunning and go-getter Ashok, was still somebody who immersed viewers in him. We as an audience saw ourselves in him, felt each and every emotion and state of mind he went through. We laughed, cried, cheered, seethed--all along with him. We went out of our minds with joy at his achievements; his victimisation and persecution made us boil in rage; we were moved to tears when he was helpless.

His moments spent with his friends and mentors; the stable boys, Kulbhushan the horse, Siamak, his mother and not least of all his Gurus Chanakya, Akramak and Devarath--- had mesmerised us and made us pine for more.

His farsightedness and intellect, coupled with his heart-melting smile and naughty glances; made us fall head over heels in love.

His humane outlook, his undying optimism and striking resourcefulness were things we dreamed of inculcating in ourselves.

Alas, that Ashok is no more. And Chandasoka never did come to take his place.

Sad.

Was Sushim under water with the mummy bandages for 10 yrs or did he age in minutes? How come he comes up as a grown up ripping off the worn out bandages while Charu watches him with the same ostentatiously evil black attire?
And where were those 4 Bindu-betas all these years and why are they all in Pataliputra as Sushim's sidekicks now? Because perhaps Ashoka has to kill ALL his brothers. He will not look that Chand if he kills just 2.

I wasn't too bothered by grown up Ashok's bulky appearance. After all he had been with the stone-cutters for the past 10 years. All that hard work has put some meat on our slim boy.(Never mind the other lanky stone-cutters😉)

@Krystal.I hope your dad is better now.Chand obviously isn't Chand enough. So far he's more into dancing at taverns and picking up quarrels with his mother over silly issues. He seems aimless-without a vocation rather than ruthless.Since we have an excellent cast here I'd put the blame solely on the writers. It looks as if the current track is handled by the same team who wrote the Prabhari Raja track.

Rani Dharma looks way too young to be Mohit's mother. She could have put up her hair in a bun and added a few wrinkles and grey hair. Not only Dharma all the royals in the show(Magadhan as well as Kalingan must have access to some fountain of youth.

@Sandhya Here's a plausible explanation for the sudden appearance of the brand new princes.Their mothers must have been concubines rather than queens and kept in a different city.Maybe Bindu married their mothers later and legitimized their sons. After that they must have been brought to the main palace.

And finally the women. There was no need to introduce either Devi or Kaurwaki this early in the show. This week should have been devoted to Ashok's life at Avantipur and defining his character.Devi is tolerable for present but I can't warm up to grown up Kaurwaki.Maybe because Ashok is mooning over her when he should have been amassing an army.

Prayers for ur dad, Krystal. Hope he is better now
And what the hell r we even seeing, Ashoka dancing in a bar???? Becoming Devdas and pining for kaurwaki, the cvs are screwed. They should seriously read at least some of the actual history.
And Babur, yeah me too expected revenge, planning and all that and all we get to se is belly dance. Huge disappointment though😕j

Yeah, just to make him seem like Chand..
Ugh, I'm missing Sid sooo much, I can't even say.
Devi is pretty good, though. Just that they should've taken someone else other than Sowmya for kaurwaki
