Chapter 8: The Final Verdict

The same day Dada Sahib arranged a party for his close friends, partners and major clients in 'Oberoi Cecil' Shimla. That was a celebration of success of one of the major project. During that meeting he want to talk his clients because they had new proposal for Sood Industries. Dada Sahib trying to reach every guest and make sure that they are comfortable.

Suddenly Ashish Malhothra entered that party hall. Vivek was also with him. There was a bandage on his head. Ashish approached Dada Sahib and shout at him. "You don't know how to bring up ur Grandson's. Are they going school in order to do Dadagiri?" Dada Sahib understand anything. "Ashish, I didn't understand what u said.." Ashish explained what happened that day at school. Dada Sahib ashamed of that situation. All guest heared what Ashish said. He became very angry at Viren. He stormed out of the Hotel.

When he reached home there was no one in the hall. He shouted"Virenn…..". Sid and Viren became afraid after hearing Dada Sahib's sound. They came down to hall. After seeing Dada Sahib's face Viren understood everything. Dada Sahib shouted at Viren,"u Nalayak.. u spoiled my whole reputation today. Why going to School? In order to study or anything else? And when u started stealing?" Sid tried to interfere Dada Sahib. "Dada Sahib.. Viren.." Dada Sahib shouted at him too. " U will not enter into this." Then he turned towards Viren. "If u stay here u will spoil Sid too.. I know what to do.." he called Jawahar. He came there.. "Jawahar .. u call boarding school now. " "But Papa, it is too late now.." "So what. School Principal is my friend. I will call him now..."

Hearing this Viren started to cry. "Dada Sahib, I don't want to go… I don't want to go…" he didn't even notice him. He went to call Principal.

Viren shattered in every means. Now he is sure he wanted to go. There is no hope now. He slowly walked towards his room. He felt too much weight on his leg. When he reached his room he found that Chanchal started packing his belongings. When he saw her, his eyes started to flow again. He asked,"Maa.. Will u allow me to go??" Chanchal replied without looking at him, "Beta… Dada Sahib is everything for us. So we should obey him". Then she left his room. After few minutes Sid came to his room. He said nothing to Viren. He stood near door and watching Viren. Then he turned to go. " Bhaii.. Please take care of Nivi.." this time Sid cannot control himself. He ran towards Viren and hugged him tightly and both of them started crying.

It was about 12 o'clock then. At sharma's Nivi still awake. She was thinking about Viren. If Dada Sahib came to know about today's incident, she can't imagine what will happen next. Suddenly she felt someone calling her. "Nivi..Nivi.." Some whispering sound coming from outside. She knew it is her Veeru's sound. She looked at the window. There she saw Viren. He was crying. She ran towards him. "Veeruu… What happened?" He explained whole things. Now she also became sad. "Nivii.. u don't worry. Next month our vacation will start. Then we can see again.. Then if u had any problem, u just tell Sid. Ok. He will take care everything." Then he gave her Viren's photo to her and said, "whenever u want to see me please look at this ok.. I am always with u." Nivi give him her photo. Then he was about to leave. But he turned towards her and said, "Nivi.. Please don't come to my home tomorrow. If I see u, I can't go…"

Next morning everything ready for Viren's travel. Viren hugged Sid,Dadi Maa and Tyaji. Then he walked towards car. He didn't even look at Chanchal. Before entering into the car he looked at Sharma's and whispered "Nivi…"

Nivi was standing near the main door. When she saw car passing Sood Gate, she couldn't control herself. She ran out of the home. NT shocked to see this. "Nivi…"

Nivi ran through the cross road and somehow she managed to reach main road. When she was about to reach road she saw the car. She began to ran behind that car.. She screamed "Veeru……….Veeru………." Viren heard Nivi and saw her running behind. "Nivi………." He tried to open the door.. Jawahar hold him tightly and asked driver to speed up the car. Viren started to kick at the door.. "Papa..Leave me please.. Leave me…" then he looked back and called " Nivi…………"

"Nivi….." Suddenly Viren awake from his thoughts.. He shook his head… he found that he still in office. He started car and turned on the Car stereo. He heard a Hindi song ..

Voice Over: Viren

When I reached school, I started counting day in order to come home. Finally that day came. I waited for my Papa. He didn't come. Finally my hostel warden informed me that he will not come. I scored high marks in annual exams. So Dada Sahib thought I stay at hostel itself I will surely become a good boy. This happened every year. Sometime Tyaji called me. Then I used to ask her about Nivi. After Bade Chacha's death everyone shifted to Delhi, they stayed there till Sid's marriage. From that day onwards I didn't know anything about Nivi. After completing my schooling I joined 'IIT Bombay'. From there I got placed MNC USA.

Chapter 9: Way Back to HOME.

Everything went upside down at Sood Mansion now. Today it is Dada Sahib who wanted to call Viren. Last one he was thinking about Viren. Now he is in a high position. He is very proud of him. He asked Vandana to call Viren. She called him and put Land phone in loudspeaker mode, so that everyone can hear Viren's voice.

After hearing what Viren said, Dada Sahib became worried. He looked at Sid. Sid explained what happened that day. Dada Sahib becomes very sad. He whispered. "I have done mistake to my Viren. I am so cruel. I didn't give attention to what he wanted to say. I am a cruel. " then Dada Sahib suffered a massive heart attack. He admitted to hospital.

Next morning Dada Sahib's condition become stable. He opened eye and asked for Viren. Then also tears flowing out of his eyes.

Sid called Viren. He is in office. Sid told what happened in the Sood Mansion. He request Viren to come for his sake.

Viren took his valet from his pocket and look at Nivi's photo in it. "Nivi. What I want to do? I know Dada Sahib is now at critical situation and he himself want to meet me. If I won't go now I cannot forgive myself in future."

Finally he decided to go back to Shimla. He asked his boss. He allowed him to work at home. After informing Sonia, he went to travel agency to book ticket.

He started to pack everything. He little scared too. He don't know what is the condition of Nivi and how she will react when she see him.

Next he started his journey.

He reached home. Then he found that there is no one in home. Then a servant come and asked him who he is. He answered, "Viren!!!!!!" "Oh… Sab. Please come inside." Viren asked where all others. He replied, "They went for a marriage." "Marriage.. whose marriage?" "Sab. Do u know Keshav Sab's daughter Nivi? Her marriage."

After hearing this Viren felt he will faint at any moment. He searched for something in order to hold. He felt his eyes filled with darkness. He felt he is drowning in Dark water. Then he heard someone calling him.

He slowly opened his eyes. He saw Airhostess calling him in order to ask, if he want something to drink. He says no to her. Now he felt some relief. It was a bad dream.

After 15 hours long travel he reached Delhi. He feels good when he landed his own motherland. He called Sid in order to inform that he reached Delhi. Jawahar is on a Business Visit in London. So Sid alone wants to take care all things in Shimla. So no one came to Delhi in order to pick up Viren.

He reached Bus Station. He booked for a bus which will reach Shimla early morning. He entered bus. He saw only one seat which is near to door is vacant. He sat there. After few minutes bus started.

Suddenly all lights in the bus went on. Bell rang at nearby Church. A cool breeze swept through his face.

"Please stop the bus…"

Viren look back. He saw one girl running behind the bus. She yelled again..

"Please stop the bus."

just awesome..feeling bad for viren...n haye..finally he reached india...n tht girl is nivi naa...OMG..i can't wait for the next chapters...u r doing a fabulous job..amazing writer...
