Quibbling over Koffee: Kajol, Shah Rukh and Rani

While everyone's wondering what secrets are going to tumble out of what closet in the second season of Star One's Koffee with Karan, we managed to get a sneak peak of the famous Rapidfire Round of the first episode. It features the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai gang - Shah Rukh, Rani and Kajol.

RapidFire Round with Kajol

Karan- If you woke up one morning and found out that you've turned into Rakhi Sawant, you would?
Kajol- Have a sex change!
Karan- Ok! I'm not quite sure what that meant, but anyway!

Presenting exclusive pictures and information on SRK's sitting with the Madame Tussauds team at Mannat

A group of special guests (nobody from his exclusive friend circle) called on Shah Rukh Khan at Mannat in the first week of February. The Madam Tussauds' Attraction Team were guests of King Khan and if all goes according to plan, Shah Rukh Khan will have his wax figure at the Madame Tussauds very soon.

"On February 1, the team was in India. Shah Rukh insisted that I take the team to his residence where he has an office. So the very next day we reached Mannat. He was scheduled to arrive by 6 pm after his shoot and three hours were reserved for his measurements and other detailing.

But unfortunately Shah Rukh was delayed, although he kept in touch via phone calls and SMSes," says Bobby Khan, who co-ordinated the deal.

The time they spent together was nothing short of spectacular as Bobby recollects. "SRK's hospitality is amazing! There were 30 of us, but each one was made to feel special. SRK arrived by 11 pm, and in spite of working since 7 am, he was bright and raring to go. When I asked him whether he wasn't tired, he said, 'When I am working, I am working.' He was so energetic throughout," says Bobby.

So work got underway with Jenni, the main sculptor working on Shah Rukh's measurements. "She has also worked on Beyonce, Aishwarya Rai, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, David Beckham, and Amitabh Bachchan previously," says Bobby.

Marrie, their chief photographer was clicking furiously trying to capture Shah Rukh in every angle possible, to get the detailing of his body perfect. Her detailing included nails, fingers, toes, eyelashes…

The team had a box full of fake eyes to match his. SRK said, "I have a slight glint of green in my eyes." Bobby adds, "His face was marked with 500 and more white dots with pencil and every millimetre was measured. He was made to stand on a round platform which kept revolving and every angle of SRK was captured. Even the rear side of the wax figure has to be identical to SRK."

The clothes zeroed in on were from his hit film Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, which he had stored. "He donated these clothes to the team for the wax figure. Stephen from the team was filming the entire session; he had done that with Bachchan and Aishwarya as well. SRK was made to say, 'Hi I am Shah Rukh. Welcome to the world of Bollywood', which will form the promos that will run at the Madam Tussauds," says Bobby. After this, the team was treated to home-made biryani. SRK chatted with all of them until the wee hours of the morning and gifted DVDs, books, posters and some of his personal stuff to them too.

Karan- If Shahrukh, Kajol and you were on a plane which was about to crash and there were only two parachutes on board, which you had control over, what would you do?
Kajol- Dude, I'm family!

Rani- I would probably stay behind and give the two parachutes because, really, people want to see them together!
Kajol- Stop! Please Stop!
Shahrukh- Tum dono mujhe chipak jaana .. teeno neeche aa jayenge! Kya hai problem yaar! Main Hoon na!

Karan- So it's media hype that you'll don't get along
Kajol- It's not like we're sitting in each others pockets and drinking coffee everyday! This is a rare occasion! (Laughs)

Karan- This only happened because of me, I think!
Rani- Yeah! First happened in Kuch Kuch and now on Koffee with Karan.

Karan- So you'll are literally meeting after 10 years on a sofa?
Rani- On a sofa?
Kajol- Yeah! It was chairs earlier! (Laughs)

SRK says rivalry with fellow actors is media created

New Delhi, Feb. 8 (AP): Shahrukh Khan says he finds out which actor he's supposed to be fighting with from the newspapers. ''A few years ago when I used to get up in the mornings I would quickly check the papers so that my kids don't see it, just in case I'm fighting with someone,'' Khan said in a television interview with Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar, according to a newspaper report. The Asian Age newspaper carried excerpts from the Star World show ''Koffee with Karan'' to be broadcast this weekend. The popular celebrity talk show begins its second season Sunday with Khan and actresses Rani Mukherji and Kajol. Khan, 41, has been in at the center of a media storm with news reports claiming a bitter rivalry between him and fellow actor Amitabh Bachchan, 64. Khan has recently started hosting ''Kaun Banega Crorepati'' _ a television show based on ''Who Wants to be a Millionaire'' _ which Bachchan used to host earlier, adding more fuel to rumors of rivalry. ''His family is nice to me, kind to me and I'm kind to them. We get along very well,'' Khan said about Bachchan. ''But I have to keep on justifying this and it's a little embarrassing at times.'' Khan and Bachchan have acted together in several films including last year's blockbuster ''Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna'' or ''Never Say Goodbye.'' In the past there have been reports of rivalry with actor Hrithik Roshan. Khan and Roshan, 32, have also worked together in the successful ''Kabhi Khushi, Kabhi Gham'' or ''Sometimes Joy, Sometimes Sorrow.''

First Look: SRK on Antakshari

The format couldn't be simpler: sing a song starting with the last letter of the last song.

But Antakshari is a nation-wide phenomenon, and Colgate Maxfresh Antakshari -- The Great Challenge, aims to hit a good note among musical shows on TV.

The show, produced by Gajendra Singh, has always been a success and its latest avatar for Star One promises to pack even more excitement.

The first episode on Friday, February 9, will be introduced by none other than Shah Rukh Khan, joining hosts Annu Kapoor and Juhi Parmar. Singer Shaan will also be a part of the merrymaking.

Colgate Maxfresh Antakshari will be telecast Friday-Sunday at 8pm, on Star One.
