For those who might never have heard of this book and want to try something a little different- this is worth a read, for sure.

A little bit from the book,

"He walked to the door and turned around "We were never children. You and I. We always had old, greedy, unforgiving souls. I knew even then that one day I would have you at my feet. Begging to be love. And you did come. But you didn't beg. You spat love at me like an insult. And then you left. I didn't know then that you would take my life away with you. But you knew it, didn't you? How the hell did you know that? Who taught you to love like that?"

Five Flavors of Dumb, Antony John.

I wouldn't say I "loved" this book, but it makes for a different and interesting read.

I have way too many favourite books, so I can't really pinpoint on one. But for now, I'll settle for a quote that conveys exactly what I feel about books and reading.

"From that time on, the world was hers for the reading. She would never be lonely again, never miss the lack of intimate friends. Books became her friends and there was one for every mood. There was poetry for quiet companionship. There was adventure when she tired of quiet hours. There would be love stories when she came into adolescence and when she wanted to feel a closeness to someone she could read a biography. On that day when she first knew she could read, she made a vow to read one book a day as long as she lived."

I just finished the orient express a few days before and must say it's absolutely fascinating! Kept thinking about it for a whole week.
