We have all read our fair share of books, cried with them and laughed with them. Loved them and lived with them. Understood them, and changed because of them. Books touch us in ways that we can't express in words.
As a reader, I have lived lives through many characters, seen the world through many eyes and even now, I look forward to getting to know more of them. Difference is all the beauty in books.
A book is just twenty-four alphabets strung together randomly, to form words and sentences, but they mean more that most. To have a book with you is to never be truly alone.
We all have those favorites of ours, that we keep close to our hearts and those words on paper that reach out to us. Words have the power to change us, and to quote Tessa: 'Only the very weak-minded refuse to be influenced by books and poetry.'
I have my own personal favorites, the books I love and those that are close to my heart. As does everyone. And I also love constantly talking about them :3
So share your favorite quotes and the books they're from, or well, your favorite book and your favorite quote from it. If possible, put in a picture along with it. Share tumblr posts about books, or edits about them and basically, post anything that has to do with books!
No spamming, and no chatting about anything apart from authors and books though. Send scraps if you want to do that.
