Ritesh Deshmukh in a spot!
Ritesh Deshmukh may be the Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh's son, but on his film's sets even his personal assistant (spot boy) chooses to ignore him. However the humility personified Ritesh prefers to overlook it and maintain his cool.
An eye witness on the sets of his film Aladdin's shoot in Mumbai's Kamalistan Studios narrated to us the following incidents. "Ritesh was feeling very thirsty after a long take so he summoned his personal assistant to get a mineral water bottle for him urgently. Few minutes passed by and Ritesh was to be ready for his next take, yet there was no sign of his boy. However, he went ahead with the next take and post that kept waiting for his boy to get the water bottle. But still there was no sign of him. Around a half an hour had been passed by then and a restless Ritesh then went on to search for his boy. He saw him chatting with the rest of the crew members holding a water bottle in hand. But instead of going to him and scolding him, the Heyy Babyy star calmly took out the water bottle from his hand without saying a word and went away guzzling water from it."
A few hours passed by and the actor who was by then very tired, ordered his Man-Friday to get for him a chair to sit. "Though the spot boy rushed out to get a chair for him there was again no sign of him for over 15-20 minutes. Poor Ritesh had to again go out looking for him only to find him chatting once again with the same set of crew members. Now when everybody was expecting him to behave like a true blue film star and lash his spot boy out, Ritesh didn't even go near him and instead went on to search for a chair himself and when found one, he lifted it and took it to the place where he wanted to sit," added the eye witness
"Though the CM's son may be coming on to the Aladdin's sets with a vanity van way far plusher in comparison to his senior co-star, Amitabh Bachchan's, he is simply humbleness personified and never ever behaves like star even once on the sets," echoed a Aladdin unit member.
