Shah Rukh Khan – the main attraction of telly awards

Shah Rukh Khan will be the star attraction of the upcoming Global Indian Television Honours show, also known as Balaji Awards.
No matter how big a star SRK becomes, he considers himself never big enough for the small screen. For it was on television SRK began his journey to stardom, with a teleserial 'Fauji', many decades ago. Intermittently, he has kept returning to the small screen as the suave host of game show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati'.
Now, on February 1, Shah Rukh will perform at the Balaji Awards function at the Andheri Sports Complex in Mumbai.
Shah Rukh's act will bring the curtains down on the show. It will begin with a solo performance, followed by a charged-up dance act with eleven actresses from television. Ganesh Hegde has done choreography for this finale.
Apparently, Ekta Kapoor of Balaji Telefilms had no difficulty in persuading SRK for the show because she has known SRK's wife Gauri for a long time.
The event will also see a dance performance by Lara Dutta .
Sajid Khan and Malaika Arora will host the show. Karan Johar will also make an appearance with Ekta Kapoor for a segment of the programme.
'Nach Baliye 3' winners Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda will also show their dancing skills in a scintillating performance.
