Who is happy with screen awards results? - Page 4

I'm an srk fan...BUT I don't think Chak De was the best movie of the year nor can I consider it SRK's Best! he has done much betterrr! I think best film should've been TZP..and best actor Abhishek for Guru! but then again awards nowadays aren't really based on merit anymore...it's all about popularity, etc...I just watch the awards for the performances, hosts, speeches, and to see who came wearing what! 😆 awards don't matter for me! 😊

I am ! I am ! I watched guru and cdi both ... abhis perf. was good but srk was outstanding in cdi and oso was good as well. SRK is def. more popular thts y he won yayyyy 😃 😃 Well deserved awards 👏 👏

I think it was all fair except for the movie it shud have been Om shanti om!!...like that was biggest movie of 2007 according to box office and FANS!

^^^And I don't think Screen awards are popular choice awards...We get to vote ONLY for the best jodi, and SRK fans have, as always voted for him even if the girl in question shared ZILCH chemistry with him in the movie...

Filmfare is half audience choice, half judges' choice...Don't worry, the mightily undeserving OSO will rake in the awards everywhere else

OMG!!! I cant believe it how can SRK and Deepika win the best jodi. I totally do not agree. I thought either Shahid-Bebo or Sonam- Ranbir should get. These two pairs desrve it way better. I am sooo frustrated. Well I guess, this will be SRK's year.

I am not happy, TZP must be best movie,Guru music is not better than JWM and TZP boy deffnetly best actor of the year but screen award not respectable award so usless to discus about that.

So the big issue over here is that SRK won the best actor for CDI while it should have gone to a more (apparently) deserving Abhishek for Guru?? Hmmm…..? lets rewind for a bit, lets go back to 2006, when the award for the best actor was given to Hrithik Roshan for flying around Singapore in tights rather than giving it to a more deserving, one Mr. Aamir Khan with a hard hitting performance in RDB.

Moral of the story…. Awards aren't fair and life isn't fair either…. maybe you should step out of the forum into real life more often…..

Ps: and coming to the best jodi award, it is the only award category in Screen in which the public gets to choose, the rest all are selected by the jury. So if you feel this year's best jodi award is a farce, you only have yourself to blame for that…. for either voting for srk-deepika or rather not voting for ranbir-sonam or shahid-kareena. So the second moral of the story being…. if you want something to happen, go make it happen….. Spend time and money and vote for your favorites. But then again, if ranbir-sonam did have such a huge fan base, then sawaariya would have been a huge blockbuster!!!

Btw…. I still blame Ponting for all this…..
