karaoke music, lets dicuess somthing here

How many of you sing karaoke music, lets say you make video of your self sing a karaoke song and send it to family, friends or even upload on youtube. Is this legal, even though it copyrighted.

Technically there would only be a breach if you actually released the song as your own or attempted to make money out of it in some way.

Its the same with copying music cd's, if its for personal use its ok....but if you start selling them then your in breach of copyright

pretty much agree with you, youtube delete one of my videos of my father singing chand se farish, it wasnt the entire song. I was really pissed. I got an email from youtube stating its copyrighted by yash raj.😡

That's quite unfair of them to delete it, but i guess their just covering their own back.

Sony have recently released Bollywood singstar onto playstation so im sure more video's are going to be popping up!
