Warrant against Aamir Khan

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Aamir Khan landed in a mess on Thursday when a local court in Indore issued a bailable warrant against him for allegedly disrespecting the national flag at a program in the city on August 16.

Two owners of a local car showroom, Ashok Rajpal and Rakesh Rajpal, were also issued similar warrants by the court in connection with the same case.

The incident took place during a function organised by the showroom of a leading carmaker where Khan was the chief guest and 11 national flags were hoisted on top of the showroom.

The tricolor remained hoisted even after the sunset and when media drew the attention of the showroom owners to the issue, the flags were allegedly pulled down in a 'derogatory manner'. Later, the flags were kept on the floor in violation of the national flag code.

A complaint in this regard was filed by an advocate, Shailendra Sharma, following which the court of the judicial magistrate issued bailable warrants against them.

The court directed them to appear in connection with the case on October 12. The complaint was filed under the Prevention of Insult to the National Honor Act of 1971 and relevant section of the IPC.(With agency inputs)

and so what does aamir khan have to do with it?? why a warrant against him?? so ridiculous!!! as if he was the organizer of the event!! in an event the chief guest is not responsible for the organization of the event!! sheesssh!!!! just trying to get media attention!!! 😡
