Kat's stalker gets Sallu's dose

After Nagma, divya Dwivedi and Rakhi Sawant, actress Katrina Kaif was at the receiving end of amorous phone calls and SMSes. The youth, Ajay Vasant Giri, a resident of suburban Mulund, was nabbed in this regards following a non-cognisable complaint registered by Salman Khan.

According to the police, Kaif told Salman about the messages she had been receiving from an unknown number. Salman then called the number to warn off the caller.

"Salman asked Giri to stop making calls and hung up. Giri called back and an exchange of abuses followed. That was when Salman approached us," revealed a police inspector. The actor lodged the complaint with Bandra police following which officials zeroed-in on Giri's number and caught him, the sources said.

Police claim that, the 25-year old Giri is in the habit of calling random numbers in the wee hours and ended up calling Kaif at 4:30 am on Saturday.

Giri, a class XII dropout and a businessman, however alleges that he made the calls and massaged Katrina without knowing who she was.

Katrina gets lewd message, Salman gets angry!

A 25-year-old guy, namely Ajay Vasant Giri, held for allegedly making crank calls and sending lewd SMSes to Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif.

Giri, a resident of suburban Mulund, used to call the actress in the wee hours. A miffed Katrina told it to her boyfriend Salman and Salman was so angry that he at once called the number to warn off the caller. A police inspector revealed, "Salman asked Giri to stop making calls and hung up. Giri called back and an exchange of abuses followed. That was when Salman approached us."

As per reports, few days back Salman had lodged a complaint with Bandra police, and police zeroed in on Giri's number and finally nabbed him.

Giri, however during an interrogation said that he messaged Katrina without knowing who she was.

Not only Katrina, recently actresses like Nagma, Divya Dwivedi and Rakhi Sawant also had complained of receiving calls from unknown callers.
