BOLLYWOOD beauty Shilpa Shetty meets the Queen yesterday — after giving a speech on racial tolerance.

The Indian actress, 31 — who won the nation's heart when she shrugged off taunts on Celebrity Big Brother — gave a deep curtsey.

The Queen beamed and took her hand at London's Westminster Abbey. Gaffe-prone Prince Philip looked at Shilpa's high-heeled sandals and joked: "Look, be careful!"

It was the crowning moment in Shilpa's amazing rise from reality TV hopeful to UK celebrity.

The stunner — whose bullying by gobby Jade Goody, Jo O'Meara and Danielle Lloyd sparked a race row in January — addressed 2,000 people to mark Commonwealth Day.

She told them: "It is every human being's inalienable right to live with dignity."

Afterwards, thrilled Shilpa said: "The Queen had a beautiful smile."
