Everything is a big YAWNN.

Except Dinesh Vijan..no one is laughing.

Came here to say I AGREE.

My interest in Bollywood right now is at an ALL-TIME LOW.

It's hard to believe any box office numbers, when "corporate booking" and "self-buying" are being heard so commonly for every film....

It speaks of the INSECURITIES that everyone in this industry has. If they are not confident in their own films, then why should we as an audience be confident?

In fact, it has become EASY for me to write predictions: if a Bollywood film is releasing, there is a 99% chance it will FLOP!

Other than that, Bollywood has gone far, far away from what was typically known as "Bollywood" and "Hindi cinema". It all feels so alien to me, with everything being so Hollywood style or an attempt to create some out-of-the-box masterpiece. I have a full rant ready for that, another day....

People have no interest in watching Ananya, Sara, Janhvi and Ibrahim onscreen. Sadly, Salman and Ajay are sleepwalking through their films now. None of the songs from Sikandar have clicked with the audience. The hardcore fans are also done with them. Akshay keeps doing one film after another and no one cares. His real comeback will be Bhoot Bangla. King will be bakwas too but SRK will try his best to save it though corporate bookings. Horror universe is what people seem excited for. Bollywood is known for its music but these days all we get are remake of old songs or "chartbusters" only suitable for reels. Last bollywood album I truly loved was Chamkila. Stars that people loved to watched have either retired, taking a break or losing their charm (Salman, Akshay and Ajay). Katrina has retired. People loved to see her with Akshay but Kat won't work with him because he is flopping. Deepika is on a break. Kareena will announce her films when she is done with her holidays. March hasn't even ended but she has alrady been on 3 holidays. Priyanka has been forgotten long ago. Didn't see any excitement from the general public even after her comeback news in Rajamouli film. It will also release in 2027 so it's a long time now. Rashmika and her gnashing teeth performance in every film is making me sick now. Khans should work with actresses of their own age or in the age groups of Katrina and Kareena but they would rather work with 20 year olds who end up looking like their neices. OTT has made people aware of the wonderful content available from all over the world. I'm shocked to see that people on social media and also in my circle are more excited about Adolescence than Salman's Sikandar. Love and War looks like a flop to be honest. Ramayana will be a huge blockbuster. Sorry for the long rant.

Just curious, anything on Alia? smiley4

For once Kangana was ABSOLUTELY RIGHT.

Karan ullo kay patthay nay nepos Bollywood KAY ANDAR zabardasti GHUSAID GHUSAID KAY almost damaged the whole industry with all of these ugly totally talentless namoonas.

Rahee sahee kasar inferiority complexed may soaked industry waalon nay puuri kar dee, they murdered the beauty and usp of Bollywood, killed the complete and a number of songs in a movie, killed the heartland stories, original screenplays , tried converting Hindi cinema in semi-European one, made the lead couple females as sIuts and heroes as one night stand morally corrupt men..even glorified these shameless traits, unnecessary bed scenes, semi nudity, uncalled for mouth eating (not kissing) scenes, killed the beautiful Hindi melodies and bombard us with night club western songs or the nonsense of balle o balle o shaava oye oye...anything except the soulful melodious shudh Hindi lyrics and soothing Hindi music, and India based stories that can connect with Indians.

All pretense and shallowness.

Could we be very confident that they know we would get to watch it on OTT? smiley4
