Why the hell is Dia Mirza playing mom? She is young, only 43!
smiley37 This movie is so ridiculous.

Yea the bad reviews aren’t that surprising really 🤷🏽‍♀️. That trailer itself was a mess.

And casting Dia Mizra and Mahima Choudhary in mom roles is the limit.

So glad this movie will be forgotten!

I can't even watch 30 minutes of this movie! Khushi is so cringeworthy and can't even act her way out of a paperbag, even Madonna is a better actress!

Tbh, when was the last time we heard of an actor getting a dubbing artist? It’s been decades! I also just noticed that Ibrahim hasn’t even given any promotional interviews so… something seems off to me.

if he indeed has a lisp then why bother entering Bollywood? Have some respect and choose a career accordingly. Everyone just in it for the money.

Watched the movie and it was so so, time pass types. Definitely will not connect with the audience because its about first world problems of the rich and famous. Ibrahim has spark and is good looking, but definitely needs to work on his acting. He has poor dialogue delivery, and needs to emote better. But he's pleasing on the eyes. His voice really throws me off. I dont know if it's because he looks so much like Saif that the deeper voice is disorienting. Khushi is terrible as well. Best part about the movie is Sunil Shetty. I'd be more intrigued if the movie was more about Mahima and Sunils' story.

Mahima looked so odd playing Khushi's mom. I was wondering is this the talented girl from Pardes? What she has become, it is so sad.

Thoughts by Nishant Mishra on " Nadaaniyan" ( Netflix) -

Nadaaniyan is the latest attack on humanity. Why do you hate us Netflix? Who approved this? Because this is not just a movie - it's a prank on the audience and their sensibilities. It's so bad that your WIFI may refuse to run as a mark of protest.

This movie proves that Bollywood 's nepotism is now running on auto pilot mode. No script? No problem. No acting skills ? Who TF cares. Just write random stuff and call it a " Modern love Story".

PLOT :

The plot is more like a sleep paralysis demon. So Pia ( Khushi) is a rich girl who hires Arjun ( Ibrahim) to be her FAKE BOYFRIEND - Why?

1)Because she needs to look cool and

2) the movie needs a reason to exist.

Obviously, the fake love turns into real but not before we endure 2 hours of chemistry so dry, that even the Thar Desert feels hydrated.

PERFORMANCES :

Imagine someone forced a guy to act on gunpoint & even then, he refused to emote. That's Ibrahim in the movie. His malnourished abs were more expressive than him. A mannequin can win awards for acting if the competition is Ibrahim. He delivers line like he is reading a school essay.

Khushi Kapoor's acting is so lifeless that one point I thought Netflix was buffering. It's so wooden that the furniture in my house filed a copyright lawsuit on her.

If you ever feel useless, remember, someone cast them as the lead pair.

Suniel V Shetty as Pia 's dad is only there for the paycheck as he also has to pay the bills. Mahima Chaudhry plays Pia's mother but she is there only to tell us that BOTOX exists. Dia Mirza and Jugal Hans Raj play Arjun 's parents and they are also there because of the paycheck.

DIRECTION AND DIALOGUES:

It's like they hired AI to write the dialogues and even they were delivered pathetically by the lead pair. They just can't speak Hindi properly.

RECOMMENDATION:

There is a scene where Pia calls herself and Arjun " stupid, idiotic and annoying". That's what the movie is. Even Nepotism would be ashamed of this .

If you truly love yourself, then watch something else. If not, then watch it twice.

RATING -

1/ 10

0.5 marks for the guts to make and release this.

0.5 marks for the fact that it ended and I survived.

Here, I got the feeling that the focus on Western movies again was something that 'killed' the connection to the characters and the story... and also a totally incompetent directress. What a blatant carelessness Karan apparently showed towards this movie with three newcomers (Shauna Gautam, Ibrahim, Kushi). Sad state of mind.

Are we now blaming Karan and Zoya for the sheer incompetence of these good for nothings? It’s pretty blatant that Archies was written to accommodate the extra ordinarily limited skill set those three have. And is clearly the same here. smiley36
