Oh boy. Bad writing and bad acting. This was just bad bad bad!! If the whole movie is like this why did Dharma even release it? They should have just shelved it and ate the cost.

Bawal movie was like the Dil Chahta hai opera . During the Opera Aamir realises his love. Here also during the trip, love realisation happens. Movie was okay...esp where she has fun during her Eiffel tower trip and he s bored when he went alone. That part was good.

Bawaal was a blah movie and Varun overacted his heart out. I do agree that Janhvi wasn’t bad at all. Overall given that it was by the director of Dangal it was disappointing. Had it been a Shashank Khaitan movie for instance it would have made more sense.

I think at the time we were all so caught up with the controversy of the film that we all forgot to judge the movie overall. Honestly though, that controversy was very hard to get past.

I speed-watched, then skip-watched. 🤷🏻‍♀️

My Mum watched it she didn’t like it either. She only liked the songs and their clothes.

I get that they were trying to go for a Noah centino/ Disney movie type ott viewing abt a high school romance

Nothing wrong with that …really I love a good high school drama

But man why are the dialogues , the settings and the lead actors so terrible 😭…it looks like a “pass aao na” closeup add throughout …there is no screen presence or charisma or chemistry here …the dialogues and the way the leads say them is so robotic it feels like ur watching one of those k dramas dubbed in hindi…

Comeon bolly u can’t even do fluffy romance now? That was ur bloody forte ….get it right

Both looked so good visually but something was off about their voices it wasnt going with the acting.whoever was in charge of dubbing dept needs to be fired!what a screw up
