Anyway, Mahima sadly didn't make the best decisions and it is sad to see her play mom to a pathetic actress like Khushi. smiley5

I was starting to think if your account got hacked. But nah, it's you. smiley36

Yes, definitely, both of them have quite a few strengths. They both uhmm showed up on set. They both did all their own scenes (I think?). Okay, I have run out. smiley36

Well...you see...you got some laughing emojis smiley20

This is a review thread, not one to discuss the movie in detail with examples for the own opinion. So, I take remarks like yours as what they are: a part of the bashing chorus smiley2

I'm quite sure that among those coming with the repeated criticising arguments haven't watched the movie...probably not even all those who get appreciation for their sarcasm.

I was excited for Ibrahim, but after watching this, I am disappointed.

Sivaye looks ke kuch nahi aaya Saifu se. Sara in comparison is much better although she suck in emotional scenes.

Film itni fuddu hai ke soch ke hassi aati hai ke NETFLIX is downgrading it's own standard by picking this kind of film.

Khushi should pack bags & just retire, Janhvi is miles better. She isn't beautiful & na hi acting aati hai.

I ain't against Nepotism if anyone start lecturing me on it, If New Talent can't impress me, I don't care.

The Last Nepo Hero I liked was Tiger only, waiting for Baaghi 4.

These seem like PR posts by Ibrahim’s team.

The comparison is a bit tricky though because Saif himself wasn’t that great in the beginning. It wasn’t until DCH when things changed for him in a positive way. Fortunately for him there was no social media in the first ten years of his career. Ibrahim doesn’t have that luxury. But he does have PR so I guess at the end it all balances out 🤷🏽‍♀️

The forum rarely has separate discussion threads for movies, only for major releases like a SRK or Salman film. The same thread is used otherwise.

I’m quite sure that among those who are struggling to actually praise anything about the movie but vaguely claiming there is something to praise haven’t watched the movie… probably not even all those who go out of their way to simp for star kids.

I have been suddenly seeing an influx of fan cams and influencer posts about his looks, after all the trolling over the weekend. So his team is probably at work hard.

But even those posts are all only about his face, none of them dare to talk about his acting. smiley36

Quite cheap as an argument... Personally, I wouldn't make a difference between what is called an 'outsider' and a star kid when I look at the impression I get through the enacting of a character in a movie. To me, neither Kushi nor Ibrahim (nor Agastya,Kushi and Suhana in The Archies) are star kids in the first place - that are just labels given to them because of the parents.

The difference between you and me is that I deny to join any chorus (bashing or praising) without getting a personal perception... I want to give scope to an unbiased opinion that is based on my own impressions and my knowledge about acting and filmmaking. What I wrote in my review is based on that (not on the family-status of the leads)... and if there would be the slightest interest to discuss this movie in details, I could (and would) do it. Yet far too many members posting here do show other interests smiley2

I just quoted you back at you. So if you think that is a cheap argument, so be it. I mean you think anyone criticizing the movie hasn't seen it, I think anyone praising the movie couldn’t have possibly seen it. Because no one with ‘knowledge about acting and filmmaking’ could like this garbage.

But hey, good to know that at least one brave user is able to see past the discrimination faced by these poor nepo babies. How would these millionaires with limitless unearned opportunities and very very limited talent survive with such blatant agendas against them. Poor them. smiley36
