The Atrangi song? She did shout about it from the roof tops. She made reels of that hook step with everyone and their grandmother. KJo even made fun of that on that promotional special he did with her and Dhanush 🤦🏽‍♀️

My thoughts exactly. Maybe the family does not want to interfere in her career choice and like to see what choices she makes as she is an adult. Kareena will never advise her as she feel Sara has her mother. I just wish Sharmila can guide her. I pray and pray Ibrahim is staying away from Karan Johar.

Aryan Khan was smart to decline Karan Johar 2 or 3 times before becoming a director. At this point Sara needs to remove herself from Karan Johar camp.

Alia Bhatt is Kjo’s creation (figuratively, as a star). Ananya is the daughter of one is his best friends and gossip buddies. Janhvi’s mom was Sridevi. Sara will never be what these girls are to KJo. She probably knows it too. Sara also seems to have a strong mother who watches her every move. Maybe KJo doesn’t have as much say where Sara is concerned.

Or it might all be some sort of inferiority complex either directly or projected via Alia, Ananya, Janhvi. Sara definitely has her moments, but overall she’s an educated, smart, and very eloquent woman. She’s a Pataudi which doesn’t necessarily carry any weight or influence now but still has a symbolic prestige specially for the likes of KJo who’s all about lineage etc.

I do agree Maroon that his overall demeanor is different with Sara vs Alia, Ananya, and Janhvi.

Wow she declined SOTY2? WHich role was she offered? Im glad she refused the movie. Ananya is the next alia for Karan Johar. Karan Johar aim is to take Alia Bhatt into Hollywood Movies and make Ananya the next Alia bhatt. I don't think Karan Johar even like Saifeena. Most of the time he embarrass her.

I don’t know. But her launch was supposed to be SOTY2. But suddenly she went a different direction and was cast in Kedarnath, which seemed like a smart move actually. There were issues with Kedarnath and even its shooting was delayed for a while. I think that’s when she got back on the Dharma bandwagon and started calling Rohit Shetty about Simba.

I don't think she is anything like Alia or Janhvi who are too afraid to say anything to him. I don't think Kjo can relate to someone who is very direct. He was so shocked when Ajay called him an enemy. I have no clue what to make of Sara yet, but I am assuming she is direct and questions things. He likely can't stand that.
