Despite ehhh reception, it's true that the entire reason why the Archies is Number 1 on IMDB is that people are interested in Suhana Khan, the child of the biggest star rn. (Pretty natural imo). But now we see that she has a "solo" starrer for her next movie.
Pretty unconventional for a female nepo, but moreso akin to Janhvi Kapoor, who did Gunjan Saxena. The issue is that Gunjan was plagued with time issues, and post Dhadak, took a long time to release. In the middle of the #BoycottBollywood movement. It had plenty of issues, but the gamble Janhvi took between Dhadak and Gunjan is singlehandedly the reason why she fell behind Sara and Ananya in fandom power.
Now that is another issue. But what about The King? It has SRK, obviously the main draw. And the story isn't a biopic, but moreso something entirely fresh where people will not compare her to another (in theory). But it's going to releasing in a while, and it's going to bring comparisons between SRK and Suhana.
Abhishek Bachchan's best films were with his father. And there is Sujoy Ghosh + Siddharth Anand. Will the King be anywhere as anticipated as the other SRK projects/cameos?Especially since no Tiger vs Pathaan.
