Overall RS best hardly matches a 2013 movie. And then Sanju, Brahamastra, Animal etc opening are in different league. Point being RK always had bigger/better BO initial/pull. Even though I do not agree that debate is over.

Clearly Ranbir has bigger openings and also bigger fandom. We shouldn’t forget that he came into the field with a legacy. On the other hand Ranveer is building his fandom from the scratch. No comparison there.

As an audience I will just be selfish and hope the actors will focus more on making good movies than trying to play the one up man game with their so called competitors. I enjoyed Ranbir’s movies before Sanju. But from Sanju the quality of his movies kept going downhill.

Yes they should be compared and I do not think it is over or anything as such. And comparing them to khan's is a joke. Shahid in spite of being good actor never had good box office pull unfortunately.

I think I am one of the few who actually likes both RK and RS. And at this point I have to say RK is the bigger star by far. They have both had quite a few movies bombing, but RK has given to monster Hits. RS is still searching for that breakthrough HIT I feel where people just sit up and take notice. He came close with Padmavat where he pretty much took down Dilwale, but has disappointed since

I also blame his offscreen persona for him not being taken seriously as a BO contender. The court jester act was funny for a year and then he just went overboard with it. Dude needs a persona revamp to connect back with mainstream audiences. He has the acting chops to back it up

Forgot Brahmastra's opening. That's way beyond RS s league

But he should atleast try and cross Besharam s opening.
