Debate over?

I think the discussion between Ranbir and Ranveer, much like the Messi vs. Ronaldo debate concluding with Messi's World Cup win, is settled post 'Animal.' Whether in box office success or performance, Ranveer might not reach the level of achievement Ranbir has showcased in 'Animal,' which is poised to cross the 500 crore mark. Comparing Ranveer to Ranbir is no longer relevant; the competition would be unjust to Ranbir, as there is a clear distinction in their standing now

There was never any competition IMO Ranveer’s competitors are Varun, Tiger, Vicky etc while Ranbir is directly competing and even beating the Khans.

Ranbir ki jagah Rajpal Yadav bhi hota toh bhi movie 500 cr kar jati, it was Sex & Violence that got sold not his performance.

Ranveer is still miles ahead, he did Khilji way better than what Ranbir did in Animal.

Animal success is coming from

1. Tripti's Sex scenes

2. Lord Bobby's entry song

3. RK's nudity in garden

4. Blood, violence

Personally, Even I never considered Ranveer a competitor for Ranbir. However, before 'Animal,' many forum users engaged in comparisons, with some asserting Ranveer's superiority. I believe the debate has now been conclusively resolved, and there's no valid basis for comparison anymore.

When Ranbir and Ranveer were making movies of the same genres, Ranveer clearly was ahead. And Ranbir was failing miserably there with a string of BO failures. Then he jumped into this new genre of cheap and vulgar starting with Sanju. Both movies ran on director’s name and clout.

Let’s see if Ranveer will pick up movies in this new line and if he will get success there. Until then it’s apples to oranges comparison.

As far as competing with the Khans and the other seniors, why not. Ab gadhe bhi doudenge godhonke race mein. Kisne mana kiya!🤣

Can you name a box office blockbuster featuring Ranveer without Bhansali or Shetty? He had 4 disasters in a row before RARKPK

Ranbir could very well go Prabhas's way. A huge hit like the Bahubali franchise and then straight duds. That is in no way an enviable position.

Besides just a year back, SRK had been giving the biggest duds of his life one after another. His fortune changed this year otherwise he had been written off. This conclusively proves nothing.

Ranveer already did a sex movie - Befikre and we all know how it turned out
