Nothing wrong in PC trying, whether she was successful or not. Honest/unvarnished ambition. How is that in any way dirty as long as she doesn't do anything illegal or unethical?
Whatever Irfan and Tabu were cast as, they were successful in being noticed for being actors, rather than access to Indian market. Which was all Deepika was in that movie. And she failed at that
