Why not simply agree that such headlines in media a relative... because the value of money, the ticket prices and the distributing conditions aren't all the same throughout the years.

That's why I made the question mark! not for furthering a rat race...

I also explicitely wrote that all the records are still valuable (but I want them, too, seen as something relative, when doing comparisons).

Most often, comparisons aren't fair, especially when dealing with the box office moneywise.

Again, please let me know what is the point of this thread. Clearly, we are not supposed to bring up other stars touching international benchmarks or disagree with the original claim. Then why did you post a random fan tweet without any substance on the front page?

It was a provoking headline (I copied from media)... but it was interesting to see the different reactions (also because I was the one who did the thread ) ...Everybody knows my affection for SRK, but not everybody knows that he is, to me, an ordinary man with just a lot of extraordinary attatched to him... it's like the halo-effect ("the tendency for an impression created in one area to influence opinion in another area" )

It was intentional to keep headlines that way.. if you were aware it's not Only Srk you wouldn't have made thread the way you did you were trying to pass it on as something as if only Srk has done it.
