I remember He said Krissh 3 came 7 weeks before Dhoom 3 and they were the ones who raised those prices
Aamir needs to decide if it's the producers(of Krissh) who can raise the rates or the theatre owners?
Enhanced rates is nothing new, but itne kabhie nahi dekhe. $ 24/ticket in India. That's wild.

2006 m 102 cr ka manipulation
Bahubali was charging $24 for regular tickets in California even on the days rest of the movie tickets were $6
IMAX tickets were $42
🤷🏻♀️
this enhanced price strategy is nothing new… people seems to have developed this issue only cause now it seems like jawan might do great business in first week

I don't think you're fully appreciating the sort of prices Red Chillies is charging for the first extended week.
A recliner in Mumbai is going for 1950 & in Delhi for 1600. That's like 24 US. More than what they charge in North America. I don't even know how ridiculous the IMAX prices are.
Gadar was 650 & Pathaan was 900.
Regular seats are going for 400-1000. Gadars average rate was 219. Pathan 290.
...
Isn't it the pricing for both the seats? (When booking in Germany, it's always the total price to pay that is shown).
So one recliner-seat is half of 1950 rs (less than $12)... and Single Screen theatres will have lower pricing for all seats, I suppose.
Coldplaying seems to be obsessed with "corporate booking"...where is the proof?

No that's per ticket, Clochette. Again....there's nothing wrong with it. South movies have been doing it for a decade now and their inflated figures always leaves people in awe. About time Bollywood caught up. It's just that these prices have never been seen for a Bollywood film before.

I paid 3500 INR for 2 Oppenheimer IMAX tickets only last month. And that was 3 weeks after its release
Nothing new

Pure Cash grab. While 3x Premium for big releases is quite common in South Cinema....this is the first time the Hindi Belt will be witnessing something of this sort. Will people stay away out of principle....there are small murmurs of that but seems to be working big time in general. The footfalls will certainly stay way behind Pathan & Gadar but it doesn't need much to catch up to them with those prices. The weekend will obviously be historic.
Mumbai advance still not picking up might be due to high price and dahi handi they should have not increased prices or just little hike
