Any Nutan fans??

Huge Sunil Dutt fan here which lead me to watch a movie called Sujata which left me more in awe of the lead actress Nutan. Her beauty is unmatched at least to me and she’s good actress. I don’t know how and why I never watched her before. Anyways can anyone recommend me other good films of hers?? I tried Milan with Sunil Sir, again but I didn’t connect with it whereas Sujata blew me away in every way possible. Also, the songs were great especially Jalte hain jis kaliye 😭💙

Also, good Sunil or other actors movies from the golden era are welcomed. I’m not Indian so I never really thought anything of old movies but after this movie I realised I have been missing a lot 😢

Anyways please, recommend away.

Nutan is a fabulous actor and Sujata is definitely one of her best. Her chemistry with Sunil Dutt is just sooo good! The songs are fabulous too.

Another actor I think she shares fabulous chemistry with is Dev Anand. I'd highly recommend their 'Tere Ghar ke Saamne." It's a romcom so not serious like Sujata but great fun. The songs by S.D. Burman again are really good.

If you want to get a dose of her acting then definitely watch 'Seema'. She plays a wrongfully accused delinquent who's sent to a remand home run by Balraj Sahni. I think it's one of her finest performances along with Sujata and Bandini.

Bandini is a must-see for any Nutan fan. I still refer to her as Kalyani sometimes, her character's name in Bandini- that's how impactful I found her performance.

Anari with Raj Kapoor is also a great film.

You've probably watched her later performances like Meri Jung and Karma. Would love to read your reviews if you do get to watching any of these films.

Lizzie, no, unfortunately Sujata and Milan are the only ones I have seen so far. Lol, I didn’t like Milan much so I thought I should open this thread and ask for others to help with recommendations.

Oh man. I'm a 50s and 60s junkie. Movies and music. I find the actresses so stunning.

I can definitely recommend some more movies from this era if you're interested. 😳
