Well I guess Aloo sort of gave a hit last year if you count RRR before that she also had her 15 minute role in Gully Boy. If Bollywood wants to survive it should start doing some serious auditions for new talent. Look for both acting and dancing talent. We have only had two international beauty pageant winners. But whatever happened to taking pretty Miss Indias like Juhi who also had acting talent. Audition models to see if they have acting talent.

Umm. No! I have nothing against any of the other cast members of Gadar 2. But I am no fan of the film. I would honestly have rather had Rocky and Rani do well. Mostly for Ranveer's sake. Not my fault I gave it business on the first day. Even sent my parents to give it business over Gadar 2. Not my fault it still couldn't perform well. I guess I have to accept what Shaitaan says as it is a painful fact unfortunately. Simrat and Utkarsh are welcomed in Bollywood if they are talented. I would have no way to tell as I will not watch the film in theatres. Utkarsh is a director's son. So I am doubtful he was selected due to his tremendous talent.

Oh did you forget the reasoning that was provided for that. Their supporters wanted us to believe that the 400+ budget that was being referred to, be spread over 3 parts🤣so Part-1 released....but they wanted us to believe that the 400-500 crore budget is for the entire three-part franchise 🤣so they included... two films ....that weren't even made yet. I know right? In what Astra is that possible? I think someone's jhumka's are on too tight and need to be removed.

Alia is good but Ranbir must be kidding to say she is comparable to Amitabh. She is not. That’s too much of unnecessary chatter. But it’s also unfair to compare RR with Gadar because Gadar is a v massy film. Now it’s not only massy but also resonates with the political/religious narrative in the country. It was bound to be a superhit

Stardom is when your core demographic knows u and aspires to be like u …

…that salon owner in a small town who paints amitabh bacchans face on his shop…

that tailor who has pictures of aishwarya rai in his shop ….

that small grocery store owner who has a picture of Sachin Tendulkar drinking boost on his shop

That beauty parlour with a picture of sridevi on it

that bar of soap from a tiny convenience store in a village, that has madhuri on it

Or that random village sarpanch banner in Tamil Nadu that has rajnikanths face on it …

Only when u manage to permeate to that level, will u have any sort of stardom …

No one gives a shit abt varunado, Kriti , alia, ranbir, ranveer and ilk beyond the Twitter reddit user base …even if they know them, they won’t aspire to be like them …

not saying they are all bad actors…but they aren’t what “stardom” is about …their stardom can be easily revoked …

Back in the 90s , I had this guy sell little sunglasses for kids on a cart / bicycle thingy that he would move around from street to street

That dude had a picture of srk with glasses on his cart for marketing purposes …😂

Also sallu was the poster boy for most gyms and even a butcher shop selling chicken (protein) ..also the number of people who had his tere naam haircut in the early 2000s …😳…that was a shit hairstyle and it still sold
