Nope.Gangu figures were inflated. Thats the point I am making, these people are fudging numbers to make it seem like their films are working.

TMWR was the sequel to the hit film TWM. How much did the first one earn?

Kerela Story & films like Kashmir Files always make money due to controversy. There is nothing to brag about because it is not about the female lead, but about the controversy that got them noticed.

Even in earlier times, films like Fire, Bandit queen, Maachis made similar kinds of unexpected BO Numbers just because of Controversy.

The way Alia gets promoted here, if shes starring in a Karan Kapoor directorial with Ranveer Singh, and its the quintessential Bollywood movie - that movie should earn MORE than 200+ crore, she barely reached 120cr. The collections are not that different than Shraddha Kapoor's movies that have become hits, so WHERE is the stardom that everyone talks about? I don't see it? Do I need laser eye surgery?

I know my point is valid, thankfully I dont need to be brainwashed by fake articles and PR ploys to see the truth.

Alia has done 14 films, out of which 6 have crossed 100+ Cr (including RRKPK). Let me know if any other heroine from her contemporaries did achieve that BO command.

That means nothing. That's your benchmark of success?.....Shraddha has 5 of those 😆and I believe her movie with Ranbir did more business than RRKPK. And thats Shraddha Kapoor, the worst actress ever.

Also Kriti Sanon has a 200crore movie and so does Sara Ali Khan, does this mean they are better than Alia? Simbaa had Ranveer too, with Sara he crossed 200 crores. Why couldnt he do that with Alia Kapoor in Karan Johar's directorial?
