I remember when I saw the film and I just wondered why Jai got the girl. He did kill someone. At least he should have faced a couple of years in jail if nothing else. And Tia, the idiot, forgave him so readily after learning the truth. Abey kya dialogue maara tha. Something about accident in her kismat or stuff like that.

Shahid is handsome as well. The only reason Jai got away with it is because he wasn't abusive, he didn't drink, and he looked like he actually repented after the accident. They repeatedly made it out that he was trying to stay away from Tia, couldn't drive the car, and suddenly gave up drinking as well. With Kabir, the only redemption arc was that he loved Preeti a lot - so people didn't buy that as readily.

The songs are nice though except that Daiya Daiya song. I never understood how they managed to make such a song on a "school budget" and with kids present. JUST HOW???

Was a guilty pleasure till 2012. I guess it would seem too outdated now.

Arjun K looked like a dream and music was lovely.

I was one of the few ones happy that the husband was killed off. Annoyed the shit outta me 😆

I get confused between the stories of Dil Ka Rishta and Kuch Na Kaho 🤣but both were my guilty pleasures for some reason.

This is such a problematic movie.

I watched it recently and couldn't believe how they made Arjun's character a hero. Firstly, he couldn't take "no" as an answer even though Ash told him multiple times that she was with someone else.

He tried to win her over with me. Later on, he caused an accident while drunk and killed 2 people (his best friend and Ash's husband). There were NO repercussions for that. And yes, Ash ended up losing her memory due to that accident, which was so hard on her little baby.

The ending was pathetic as well.

TBF, even Jai had a lot of remorse. They explored that when he would keep away from Tia b/c he had an unbearable amount of guilt at ruining her life. He had that till the climax. He was a nice man, comparing him to KABIR SINGH is vv unfair.

Hahahaha me toooo!!! 😆😆 I was just happy when Jai-Tia got together & it was obvious that he repented so much. I mean the whole 2nd half was about that! 😆 These people claiming he didn’t etc is so weird b/c did we watch the same movie. 😆

She was a hella happily married woman being STALKED by this creepy dude who was still relentless in his pursuit despite knowing she’s married. “Aap mera pyaar paise se nahi khareed sakte jai sahab” yess you tell him girl cus he about to kill off your husband when you are pregnant with his child. 🥰
