He seems to be wearing a crystal mala in this pic. Probably to ward off negative energy. Black obsidian or black tourmaline or onyx type look like the mala he is wearing. Man seems to be looking for any means to get some respite and relief. Never seen him wear crystals earlier.

He wears that quite often, I am not sure what it is but I have seen him that crystal mala many times

Very good, main rehta Chandigarh hoon, but most of the time I am traveling due to job.

It's a popcorn flick, with nothing new. Yes, SRK is back on screen after 4 years, but Aamir also showed up after 4 years.

I think a large chunk of the success is an outpouring of love and solidarity. Amitabh Bachchan saw this when he got injured. He was the personification of the ordinary man for many, angry at a corrupt system. He was seen almost as a member of the family by many. People prayed for him as they would for a relative.

SRK had a traumatic 2021. People saw their beloved charmer in him, framed by a corrupt system. People prayed for him during the fiasco. 2022 didn't end on a good note, with haters threatening to kill him and burn theaters and so on.

I think regular people wanted Pathan's success. I think they saw it as a personal win. There you go. Love won for once.

It's good to see. I feel a tiny flicker of hope. 😆 That's about all the mushy thoughts I can manage. Now I'm going to be cynical to a couple of people at work to get the syrupy taste out of my mouth. 😆

Once I knew the plot (spy thriller ) and cast I knew it do well but how well that’s another story !! Plus, Salman being in it even in an extended role hyped things .

Granted the khans have done cameos in other movies but they like blink n miss with no impact !!

Tubelight, Zero were slow paced movies n really didn’t suit them. Though Kabir is a good director tubelight type of movie isn’t what his fans want to see him in. Same with zero. People rather see Aamir khan in these types of movies.

I am just hoping now that some diehard srk fans don’t go nuts on twitter with other fandoms because then other groups will do the same tit 4 tat lol 😂 I like the peace we had during pre/post Covid !!

Many in real life did not know Salman had cameo in it. Cameo news may not always affect fortunes of film. Remember SRK cameo failed to create buzz for LSC?

Regarding Salman Khan he as huge loyal fans in India and now overseas.

Salman Khans cameo could no way be kept secret 🤫 and was in the media otherwise I would not have known and this was known long ago well before the release and known in real life even in the states because it was leaked on purpose in the media, and these days people who into Bollywood will see it on the Indian news channels , twitter, instagram, etc . Then there’s people like me who will tell people on social media and by WOM they will get to know !!

I was talking about older fans of SRK, like my uncle and aunt who are from 70s, 80s gen, did not know of Salman cameo for eg and did not like his hairstyle.

They were pissed at LSC too. And wondered what happened to Aamir and his script sense now.

They have slowly begun to lose interest in Khans and are newly addicted to Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hot Star etc, where they found global content.
