Triumph of love over hate... SRK❤❤❤

I have a theory re: Pathan's humongous success.

It's a popcorn flick, with nothing new. Yes, SRK is back on screen after 4 years, but Aamir also showed up after 4 years.

I think a large chunk of the success is an outpouring of love and solidarity. Amitabh Bachchan saw this when he got injured. He was the personification of the ordinary man for many, angry at a corrupt system. He was seen almost as a member of the family by many. People prayed for him as they would for a relative.

SRK had a traumatic 2021. People saw their beloved charmer in him, framed by a corrupt system. People prayed for him during the fiasco. 2022 didn't end on a good note, with haters threatening to kill him and burn theaters and so on.

I think regular people wanted Pathan's success. I think they saw it as a personal win. There you go. Love won for once.

It's good to see. I feel a tiny flicker of hope. 😆 That's about all the mushy thoughts I can manage. Now I'm going to be cynical to a couple of people at work to get the syrupy taste out of my mouth. 😆

Absolutely correct....I saw so many people who are saying that this feels so personal....so many said that they are going watch Pathan just to piss off the Boycott gang and terrorists who are literally getting physical with people and driving them out in between the movie......This gives me so much hope that people still will do the right thing....apart for me being happy for SRK...🥳

Oh it’s a personal win indeed. For years I’ve been seeing people mocking SRK, saying that he’s “finished” and should “retire.” He’s getting old, he looks awful, he’s no longer a superstar. As a fan, it’s hard to stomach how quickly some people want to write him off and for what? A few years of failing and that means he should give up? He didn’t achieve this level of stardom by starting off his career with a gold spoon in his mouth. SRK earned it by working hard, overcoming early failures, and never giving up. That’s SRK for you.

Now the joke is on the haters. I’m 27 years younger than SRK and I can’t even touch my feet without breaking my hipbone, yet this 57 year old man is running around like it’s nothing. I had back pain just watching him move. So yes, seeing the success of his film and the overwhelming reaction he’s been receiving has made my heart swell in pride. Like someone tweeted, we’re not getting any money from seeing Pathan succeed, but we’re being rewarded by seeing our childhood hero, the most loveable man, smile with his dimples in full sight. ❤️🤧

On a final note, here’s a gift to all his haters. Please ensure that you’ve read the instructions before applying to wounded area. Keep refrigerated for 7 days and discard after use.

P.S. I’m sorry to ruin this heartfelt post with the above picture but I needed an excuse to use it somewhere. 😆

I am inclined to agree. Although I have no interest in watching this film, I would watch it just to flip the bird at the jingoists

This does feel personal. I was so used to watching his interviews, his opinions on things, his wit and everything for last, I dont know how many years, ever since I was 3 I think, thanks to my mom who is even a bigger fan than me. And suddenly these controversies started on these made up issues. I am familiar with the controversies like him slapping Farah Khan’s husband, banned from Wankhede etc. etc. and those were in his capacity to manage. But things like taking his comments out of the entire conversation and having hours and hours of news debate. Journalism on creating more hatred for him. Their constant try to pull him down. And end result, this has turned my SRK into mute. Excelt that askSRK, I have nothing. And I dont have any complaints. The media whose rozi roti was ensured by selling my SRK and his cheenk (sneeze), turned their back to serve the supreme command and how ! Fourth pillar of democracy my foot ! 🤢

And this was taken to another level in 2021 when they touched his family. I dont think people could have taken it anymore. Yes, there would still be bigots as we see even in this forum freely roaming around spreading hatred for I dont know what, but in general I feel public is done with media’s hutiyapa with him. The jokers should be choking on themselves swallowing their words now. The hatemongers from every TV channel at prime time show, who still earned crores showing SRK and his family’s misery over G20 Summit, should find now a spoon to drown in that.

This feels like my India again. In this constant env. of forceful hatred, people will find way for love anyways, because hatred, with all its shortlived glamour and glory, is tiring at the end of day. 👍🏼

For me, it IS personal victory, and I totally can feel whoever else says so ! With no other way to show my love to SRK as he has withdrawn himself from almost all platforms, I’m gonna walk this path (to my nearby theatre) as many times as I can, and I am sure I’m not the only one out there to feel like this.❤️😈😃

If the film got these collections it’s only and only coz of srk

It’s not like sid anand excelled at writing or direction , or even vishal shekhar excelled …..they either did the bare minimum or below par work tbh….

This is solely his win ….no one else can take credit for Pathan ….

But ur right I am happy it got the collections it did because frankly I’ve had enough of those bloody boycott bullies and their jobless / pointless agendas ….they need to get shut up …high time

I don't believe it's only about SRK at this point. He's almost a symbol of what's good about India now. ⭐️. People are going there to show solidarity. They feel personal about Pathan's success.
