Kaithi - 3.5

First Tamil Movie, I could not find dubbed version, so watched it in Tamil reading subtitles.

Story is good and execution is wonderful. Action is good. Loved the entire theme of students in police station and especially them tackling one of the brother. The little kid is amazing.

Lucky Bhaskar - 4

OMG, this is a Gem. Story is great and execution is superb.

They did tie up the story well with Screenplay was great. when the kid thanks his father for organizing his Bday and says how others mocked him, I had tears as I had seen that happen in life. I also had seen how mother side sons and puts down daughters. Liked it.

Cinema Marte Dam Tak 3.5/5

Unlike 'Miss Lovely' which was a proper movie of dark nature touching the subject of B / C grade Hindi movies of bygone days . this is rather a full on docu-drama over the subject & is of light nature . Some interesting,humorous revealations too but one has to watch attentively & decipher their talks to get them .

Catching upon Indian Movies esp from my region aft years of choosing BW over Telugu.

Salaar - 4.25

Well can see the influence of KGF in the cinematography and screenplay and some locations too. I loveddddddd KGF1 N 2.

I liked the story of Salaar. I liked the action, I mean OTT tho bantha hai, lol. The theme of friendship is admirable, Director definitely has a soft spot for mother, and it is seen in KGF and in Salaar.

I liked the politics, and I suspect somewhere Varda played and manipulated Deva in name of bringing him back (hope that's not true and they highlight friendship to be true).

Violence is insane and I am not complaining, been a fan of John Wick franchise. I feel they did dragged zoombie theme of druggies a bit, thoda zada tha and I hope their is no Love story btw Deva and Shruthi, nope not liking it, as she was blushing and all when he saved her when his mother lifted the promise. Even during narration the way she was blushing and all, I was like plz no love story for the love of god.

Loved the twist towards the end, both of them.
