My post was referring to people who are always whining about star kids not being educated enough, even actual college grad srk fans haven’t taken Offense at his kid being more educated than him… but some how fans of high school graduate ranbir want to pretend he has a phd in acting tu Chalo theek hai 😂 matlab kuch bhi… 😆

Shah has 4 honorary doctorate degrees from various international Universities, he is way more qualified than anyone in Bollywood 😆

A degree is the qualification for BW now?

Dear God! Why didn't someone tell me this before? I'm very good at exams. Will surely get into a top school for scriptwriting. Should guarantee me acceptance. Right?

Sheesh! Wasted so much time writing, refining, tossing, writing, refining, writing again.

We should apply together.

I am sure the audience checks for the cast and crew's qualifications and degrees before they book tickets 😆

This is the most unintentionally funny thing I've read today. Of course having a degree in film if you want to get into production/direction is much better off than sauntering in based on just your name. Of course having a real degree in acting is much better than jumping in as an actor based on pulling strings or walking beauty pageant ramps.

Experience and education help in every single field and makes you more prepared for the career you want. Putting effort into that preparation is a lot better than doing nothing which is what most nepo-kids do.

It will help even in terms of giving interviews and dealing with meetings and other public relations. Education is never wasted or worthless and will ALWAYS put you a step above the people who didn't bother with it.

As far as Ranbir goes, he has admitted himself that he was bad in school and couldn't deal with and chose to just take some acting classes. He would not be able to do that if he wanted a real degree. I don't know why his fans are trying to prove him "qualified" in that way when he's clearly not. It's okay - most people in BW are not so it's just like everyone else. He's had 15 or 16 years of BW giving him hand-outs based on his name and trying to push him to success. Luckily for him, he's done better than Abhishek with all his gifted opportunities.

Nobody here is trying to prove that he is highly qualified or holds some Ph.D. degree or even that he was a scholar in school

Just stating facts

Also, Ranbir is known for his acting abilities among the general cinema-going audience. Every actor goes through different phases in their career. But still, there are people out there who love him for his acting and not his name. The public doesn't care about titles. They want their money worth

That s what matters

Let Aryan khan achieve 10% of that and we will talk

Ainwe change ke jhad pe mat chadao usse . Aisa toh nahi haa ki SHAH RUKH KHAN ke bete ko koi favour nahi karega aur usko sab kuch mushkil see milne wala h 😆

Girl, Ranbir is literally an uncle compared to Aryan. Why are you even getting involved in this? He's has almost 20 years of easy opportunities handed to him. He had a Bhansali movie handed to him with zero experience and gave a huge disaster in it. YRF was waiting in the wings to rescue him. That has happened over and over again.

Everyone is going to use whatever connections they have and there's nothing criminal about it. But when you stan nepo-kids to begin with, you should stay away from your high horse when it comes to anyone else.

And no, Ranbir is not "qualified" in terms of education. Both Ranbir and Neetu themselves have talked about it.

What? 😆

Aryan khan has not even started and is already hailed as best thing after slice bread.

Matlab bol toh aise h. Ki yrf and dharma are not going to rescue Aryan if his first movie flops.

Why are you getting jealous over someone who's 15 years younger than Ranbir? lmao

Why are you so upset that @justwandering said Aryan is more educated?? Facts like that aren't going to change.

Like I said, when you stan nepo-kids to begin with, this is a discussion you should not be getting involved in at all. Ranbir has had every benefit handed to him for no reason. Others will also get that kind of help so they should be last ones getting upset about it.

My dear Hotchoco,

Going to give you the benefit of doubt and assume that you didn't actually mean to suggest an education is useless. Because I didn't say anything of the sort and to imply that I did would be an outright lie.

I'm simply going to assume you're very young or very naive. Or you'd know that degree doesn't have anything to do with success in the arts.

As I said before courses give you an understanding of the technicalities. Which makes it easier on you by not having to reinvent the wheel.

None of those courses will ever give you the talent that you're born with or the skill that results from hard work. Then there's that thing called marketing yourself. Finally, luck. None of these 4 factors have anything to do with a formal degree.

So yeah, Karthik Aryan, being an engineer, is more qualified to be in Bollywood than Aryan Khan at the moment. Because Karthik has proven himself.

Tabu, who quit college, is more qualified than Suhana at the moment because Tabu has actually proven herself.

Radhika Apte has degrees in Economics and Mathematics. She got her start in theater but doesn't have formal training in arts.

At the same time, there are people like Naseeruddin Shah and Irrfan Khan who had the talent and then got the training they needed at NSD. They also put in the hard work.

Let's take playwrights/scriptwriters. The one every darned writer goes to is Shakespeare. Didn't even complete school.

Jane Austen: didn't finish school

George RRM: Journalism

Quentin Tarantino: high school dropout

But James Patterson is an English major.

Point is not whether education is imp. It's imp even if you don't plan to write. Point is a COURSE, which is different from an education, is not a qualification for the arts. Because art is subjective. 2+2 not always = 4 in the arts. E may not be mc2.

I'm sure you'll continue arguing Aryan's degree somehow makes him qualified to be in Bollywood. I believe his daddy will have more sense than to believe that. Talent, hard work, marketing, luck = audience acceptance. Not a degree.
