Every morning sitting on the floor for one hour to do my prayanama (breathing exercise + meditation) before going to work is my happy place.

Every evening after coming from work, watching various stuff on my video projector is my happy place.

Talking to my mother on phone and my elder sister is my happy place.

Rest all is chaos in between.

What’s your happy place, Zeal?

Stupid me has fallen in love with this most expensive location. People usually speak negatively about it.. but I'm sure there are many others who love it as well. It's not something I can regularly visit, well maybe once every two years. But I've been there three times already and wouldn't mind going again. Even my own family and friends don't get it, they say there are thousands of other cities around the world.. why go to same place again and again😆

Anything close to nature like riverside or Kurail reserve forest in my city (especially with cig in hand) or just some place with lots of trees and greenery.

OR there is this beautiful old Hanuman temple near my place where I have been going since my childhood. It so peaceful to go and sit there for sometime.

Other than these, hilly mountainous regions with lots of greenery and water bodies are another of my happy places but i can't visit them too often.

Even the thought of those places is making me happy ☺️

We should take out more time to visit places that make us happy.. we do it far less than we should, nahi!?

Right! It's actually very refreshing and rejuvenating. But because of some responsibilities I can't travel much...

So most of the time it's my bedroom with mobile, music, movie / series along with some good food that act as my happy place 😆

It doesn’t take much for me to find a happy place. I will find it in driving along a beautiful stretch of road for hours with my favorite music playing too.

I look at it this way, there’s only so many sunsets I’ll see in my life, I’ll miss most out on most of them because life gets in the way. So just being able to take out that chunk of time to catch those rare bright and big sunsets is a big deal for me.

to my Grandparents Home, a Village on the banks of river Godavari. spending time in our farms surrounded by the Greenery, gentle breeze, birds chirping, flowing water (river) sound,…. gives me so much peace.

When we (me, my bro & my cousins) were kids, we used to go there on every vacation. ab itna nahi ho raha hain, but I never miss the opportunity going there. That place is like a Paradise to me. I just love everything about that place. and how I can miss the pampering from my Grandparents❤️

Aww…this making me happy and emotional and I’m already missing that place 🥰

Thanks for this thread Zeal❤️
