Member Topic: What's your happy place? And how often do you go there?

Aside from your bedroom, your home, and your hometown, of course! A place where you feel, I don't know how to put it.. you feel happy or calm, or when life becomes too chaotic and stressful, you tend to visit this place to feel at peace.

You don't have to mention the exact location if you want to keep it private.. but if you're comfortable, you can share your feelings about "this place."

For me, it's the seaside. I love going to beaches and sitting by the sea, hearing the waves crash on the shore. This gives me an immense sense of peace and happiness. I prefer sandy beaches to rocky ones, because I love swimming in the sea.

Library. I don’t go there often, maybe once a month but I love the ambience, the quiet ❤️

Closing my eyes to the sound of rain is my happy place.

Taking a deep breath while cool breeze hits my face is my happy place.

Sitting by myself at lakes or waterfronts is my happy place.

Being able to take out time to catch a bright and yellowish-red sun setting is my happy place.

Taking pictures of people I love is my happy place.

Falling asleep to a playlist that makes me nostalgic is my happy place.

I think taking out time to be present is my happy place. It is a state of mind, not any place in particular.

My only happy place in every city always been a restaurant.. There is always a restaurant I love hanging out and can spend my whole day.. What I love is the outdoor, open space and less noise ..

A massage parlour. I go every two weeks. 😍

Anything close to nature like riverside or Kurail reserve forest in my city (especially with cig in hand) or just some place with lots of trees and greenery.

OR there is this beautiful old Hanuman temple near my place where I have been going since my childhood. It so peaceful to go and sit there for sometime.

Other than these, hilly mountainous regions with lots of greenery and water bodies are another of my happy places but i can't visit them too often.

Even the thought of those places is making me happy ☺️

Wow that's lot of happy places! don't know people usually enjoy rain and mountains, but it does opposite for me. I feel gloomy..

I also enjoy the cool breeze! on one of my travels, this location was extremely windy. and I was simply basking in the cool breeze and enjoying it. In fact, whenever I visit that city.. I make a point of visiting the same location where I had that feeling. lmao
