With this into context, other stories were never made for the big screen like before which could be watched with families or even have repeat values.

And barring a few people, I take majority public as the point of argument that only such movies were preferred by audiences to come towards theatres.

By that criteria, is it ok for me to say the Punjabi domination of Bollywood is what ruined it with their sheer dumbness and laziness in approaching the art?

Hey, I didn't target ALL Punjabis. I didn't question their taste and their work ethic.

The direction you take the argument is not in sync with the thread starter's question or my own point. You are taking it in a manner that am bashing south industry movies. No am not. I do agree with one of your points that BW only took those movies into account and not other content from the south industry. I myself have seen great movies from other industries including south but their content was not action and dialogue baazi. So you must re-read and the point I was trying to say in the first case. You misunderstood my point.

The question itself was why the movies post 2010 are not worth remembering and my point was one of the major reasons.

Then why not say current movies are loud and crass without dragging *the south* into it? Which, btw, are 4 wildly different movie cultures.

I can definitely say you are gaslighting the topic into another direction. I stand to my point of saying "south" into this as it was post 2010. We all are aware what BW movies have taken inspiration from. What other reality you want to convey or be told?

You need to calm a bit.

Watch Neha Kakkar’s meine payal hai chhankai and then watch Falguni Pathak’s Maine Payal hai Chhanakai.

There’s your answer. New gen stories are dumb and all fluff. No depth. Relationships are superficial.

Kaun dobara dekhna chahega inka qtiyapa.

Everyone has said BW lacks talented actors, writers and originality and are so lazy that they remake or remix even songs and films that are hardly decade old.

IDK why you read only South Indian remakes part and leave rest of posts criticising Bollywood.

New lot is crap and senior stars are ageing or do less work or do films that glorify them. But lack good content. There is also vulgarity, profanity and westernized stuff which may put off family audience. Content is also too urban and not what interiors and small town audience can relate to.

And remakes will be called out because their content is crap and it is also futile to make remakes when originals are there to see online or on TV with dubbed versions.

South is not the only people at fault for Bollywood's lack of talent?😆

Let's get the sequence of events correct, friend.

Bollywood lacks talent. It borrows from others. Given their intellectual capacity, it borrows from the lowest common denominator of south movies.

Bollywood's crappy movies are its own fault. Not the south's. Not even a bit.

Nuh. You don't get to tell me to calm down on seeing bigotry.

Bollywood has little talent and imagination and is lazy. That's no one else's fault but theirs. Don't drag the South into it.
