Mixed feelings about him.

He's obviously got something the audience wants.

I respect the fact that he's a completely self-made man, and has built up from scratch. That is the biggest pro about him. Also, he has a magnetic personality, even though personally I consider him average in looks.

His acting is hit-and-miss. Bhool Bhulaiya second half he was pretty good, first half pretty average. He needs to work on that.

I like him more than Ranveer and Ranbir offscreen. Onscreen, he needs to deliver some stellar performances if he's going to be touted as the next big thing. Unfortunately, that still hasn't happened.

People are rooting for him as he's an outsider, and I am too.

Film choices also I think he's playing it wayyyy too safe. needs to make some eclectic/interesting choices like he did with Dhamaka, more often.

what are your thoughts on him?

I think he’s great

An if your talking about class cinema and such well anyone who can repeat long amounts of dialogues without taking a breathe must be a natural actor

Not class cinema as such

different kinds of cinema

He should be open to experiment at this stage

I'm not saying he should go soft in his film choices, he can be massy and yet portray intense characters too, so that he can build a good filmography

I have not watched his acting so can't talk about his acting but if you ask me about his looks his face looks as if he has not washed his face for a month. I heard he has lot of fans but I really don't get the hype.

I don’t really care about the “younger” lot but I think it’s obvious that insiders like kjo have it out for him… therefore I hope he does well… personally I feel most of the outsiders have it hard as the best scripts are given to certain few favorites first and they are left with making the best of whatever comes their way and if they manage to do well with it they have to face mocking, bullying and pulling down from certain camp…. So I want karthik to do well cause few people really want to see him trip

Looks wise he’s cute … nothing extraordinary but her has certain charm onscreen and his hair are real 😂 no wigs or hair pieces there 🤣

He is quite good onscreen, nothing phenomenal but I like watching him.
