Their English is a joke. Kareena's English or Ananya or Jhanvi's English are all slang. Saif, SRK speak English well. Their vocab is good.

SRK also had better image when he was more about that regular Delhi guy who became superstar and was nor seen with likes of K Jo at his bitchy talk shows nor did acts mocking others at award shows. The whole global superstar or someone with highest net worth hype and the king paraphernalia made him appear less rooted.

There is a reason why Mithun never bragged about his wealth despite being India's highest tax payer at one point in late 80s and early 90s. He wanted to keep his image as man of masses alive in eyes of audience.

Salman, Aamir also never brag about property or land they own or tax they pay or expensive watches they own.

Whereas these new age star kids post stupid pics of new branded bags or foreign vacations or PDA with new boys or girls. Indians never like faltu PDA show off either.

I said it in other threads and I will say it here too.

Aamir was fine in Talaash and Dangal as a father.

He does not look acceptable as college kid or fresh cadet in army. The de aging in LSC did not work. Only portions of child Lal Singh and older sardar Lal Singh worked well. Aamir was better in the turbaned guy role.

I do not think it was believable to show Aamir or Kareena as college students even for brief while.

And though Mona acted brilliantly, it is laughable to show her as Aamir's mom given how much older Aamir is compared to her. But Mona made up for age gap with her brilliant performance and is only saving grace of the film along with adorable child artistes.

Nobody is gonna believe 50 plus Khans or Akki are unmarried virgins who never touched or kissed a girl before or feel first rush of love or keep gazing at a girl at first sight.

I like your hope about their bouncing back the way Salman did after bad phase in 2009 or Aamir bounced back after The rising or earlier after Mela.

But this time age is not on their side like it was in 90s, 2000s, 2010s. So we can only keep fingers crossed.

exactly, in a country like ours better not to flaunt, it is not that you have to hide, each ones lifestyle is their own but it is basic common sense and empathy to dress, behave and conduct oneself based on the circumstances

Online support cannot help stars. SRK and Salman have huge fan army online. How much did it help them?

Anurag Kashyap's interview with B rangan mentioned that though DCH and Lagaan had a cultural impact the biggest hit of the year was Sunny's Gadar. So of course the producers would follow the Gadar bandwagon for many years afterwards. I found his views interesting though he gave a free pass to Bhansali when he criticized the lack of realism and overuse of sets in Bollywood movies.
