Kaabil (2016)

I loved the first half of this movie. It showed a very delicate, beautiful relationship between two handicapped people (blind in this case). But in the second half, it just became a meaningless revenge drama, which meant it betrayed its own core strength. Now, I'm not doubting the masses loved the revenge angle, but to me it was redundant.

My understanding of the movie was something else. Maybe I wanted it to be something else.

But to me, the movie squandered away its own potential to became one of the best movies of 2016.

PS - Both the lead actors did a very, very good job. Performances leave nothing to complain about.
