No. You cannot punish someone for saying they like or want something. Everybody has preferences.

I was saying what FlyOnTheWall said. I guess they were referring to adoption/surrogacy, so I went with it.

Now, back to the question: Should people mandatorily say, "I want girls" when asked if they would prefer a boy or a girl? Because that's stupid.

I would imagine it doesn't matter to them. With a little bit of investment, one can buy citizenship anywhere in the western world and beyond. For the ultra-rich, western citizenship is also not always a good thing- some countries including the US make you pay taxes on your world-wide income. It's why some people renounce their citizenship every year, and the IRS makes them pay money to do that.😊
