I'm not using other examples to call what Alia did misogyny.

Every woman who prefers boy children which resulted in the skewed gender ratio can use the same excuse as her.

All of them can claim they didn't do it out of misogyny.

But the results are out there for everyone to see.

I am not saying that female foeticide does not happen. That misogyny does not exist. That gender ratio is not screwed over. Ofcourse, it is. It's a big problem of world we live in.

Point was she's not legally responsible for what others do, but it perpetuates this myth of boy children being better. And a lot of mothers use the same excuse that I'm just stating my preferences. Nothing to do with misogyny.

But does that mean that nobody is allowed to say that they want baby boys?  Because there's nothing inherently wrong in it. Yes, some people will take it as 'male children are better'. But that should not be on Alia. Because wanting a baby boy is not itself misogynistic unless it's for specific misogynistic reasons such as 'waaris' and stuff.

Simply preferring baby boys cannot be held as something bad.
