For the ratio to have changed in the space of 3 years by that much, either there was a tsunami of baby girls in 3 years, or there are some statistical shenanigans.

Alia isn't responsible for idiots who abort the girl child. She can desire boys if she wants to. Saying, "I want baby boys" isn't a crime.

It isn't. Nor is it a crime (legal or moral or ethical) for the other mothers in India to say the same. Really should campaign with the govt to remove the ban on sex determination.
