Don't try to take the argument somewhere else. You were justifying filmmakers selecting actors based on personal preference. Not viewers.

Filmmakers look at lot of things including nepotism. So don't sell this crap of personal preference.

A filmmaker is not a computer

He’s a person himself and he has his own set of opinions , just like a viewer would…he “views” an actors audition and makes his decision based on that

he dosent have some unbiased algorithm making his decisions for him …

Yeah, but is he only judging or even trying to judge based only on the skill set? Or is he looking at other things like nepotism?

You're trying to make it seem like audition is a big thing in Bollywood. So tell me, if a star kid is selected over 1000s of outsiders for a film, was the audition process 100% fair?

My original post (again if u even read it before giving me ur “expert” opinion on it) talked about how even if someone does hold auditions of 1000s of non nepo kids to select , they select on subjective terms like “screen presence”, “expressions” and looks …which is a personal preference …it’s up to the person who is putting in the investment for the film

So technically there is no “fairness” there too because there is nothing absolute actors can do to prove their competence …they have to eventually get someone to “like “ them…
