Yami on lack of media acknowledgement

I’ll post the tweets in order of what started it. Cinema Express tweeted about top female performances. Nayandeep added Yami to the list and then Yami responded to Nayandeep. And the fact that her tweet didn’t even garner any attention only proves her point.

I know. And though I haven’t seen it by all accounts she’s phenomenal in A Thursday.

Yami seriously deserve better then what she gets in this industry

I think media dont exist in bollywood, it is audience, they give attention only to starkids and because media takes audience interview, they know who audience is interested in and who not.. What is yami talking about?

She is right.

Nothing to expect from the media or even the industry. But sadly media plays a big role in deciding which actor stays in news and catches audience attention..bombard viewers with news on them constantly and job is done.

Though I wish Yami does more self promotion..not on the lines of Tapsee or Urvashi, something better.

But she doesn't seem to be so attention seeking.

Outsiders cant even get an acknowledgement let alone being praised to skies as the nepo kids get. If that's not enough nepo kids(& extended nepo circle) also use "certain section of media" to pick on and pull down outsiders.

Yami needs to invest in a PR team no one can beat (Deepika, perhaps?) ....... and suck up to the big wigs till they believe that pigs fly.

Call the papzz to *spot* her in every airport, gym, restaurant, cafe, etc till she sees her name in lights. You either play the game or watch the game play you. 🤷‍♀️

well...how about start posting your views on her performance in A Thursday review topic. I don't know how many members here seen it and shared their views in reviews topic. I saw her brilliant performance in Badlapur with Varun and did raved about here on reviews topic.. Too bad A Thursday did not release in theatres, however seen it already and shared my thoughts in reviews topic. hell with the media..Yami just keep delivering!
