Lets get back to embarrassing stories.

When I was in 7th class, one of my favorite teachers invited me to a religious ceremony. I was excited to be one of the select few in the class who received an invitation. When the ceremony started or almost started I was seated next to her, but only sometime later her fiance arrived and all my hopes were crashed when I was asked to move.

That's my cue to not come online for sometime.

So this is regarding the Trio Game on IF hosted by Infinitely, round 1 where for once in my LIFE I GET FULL MARKS (itna to kabhi primary school mein bhi nahi mila yaar). But guess what? ME THE FFF got defeated by one minute by Priya.😭

Thankfully my grandparents(mom’s parents) who arrived that evening saved me. They ulta bashed my mom for letting me go to the chat on my own. 😆 My dad was away on some official work and there were no cell phones to do minute to minute chugli. I mean we as kids had so much fun and I feel sorry for the current day kids. No fun no masti, always prim and proper, always clinging on to some electronic device or the other. Once I asked my 4 year old nephew where do the mangoes come from, he answered Shoprite (a grocery place)😆 now he is 9 but he still didn’t see a mango tree though he now knows mangoes come from them.

Reminds me of the time I spent over 30 minutes looking for my phone while I was telling my friend over the phone that I can’t find it. They were like.. then how are we talking right now? 🤦🏽‍♀️

Another time, I wore my glasses and my left eye was even more blurry after wearing it. I thought my left eye had been cured overnight because I could only see clearly through my right eye when wearing my glasses. Broke the news to my mum and she looked at me and was like ‘the left lens of your glasses is missing’. 🤣

Omg, was once wearing contacts.. I wore one contact lens over the other in the same eye.. and I was so confused.. I though something happened and my eye power increased over night which is why I couldn't see. It took me an hour to realise what I had done. 😆

When I was 9 , I opened the back of the TV (the older TVs used to have this huge dome behind them) to see if there were people sitting inside it. 🤓😆

This reminded me,

When I was 7-8 years old, I remember KKHH was coming on Tv.. our TV was a bit defective at the time and the screen would get bit fuzzy sometimes, if you hit it at the top slightly.. the screen would start working properly. Since I was KKHH crazy at the time, and the screen got fuzzy, I hit it so hard.. the TV never worked after that. RIP 😭

😆 Did your mom give you one on your head as well or she became happy that she could get a new TV now? My mom toh took away the TV watching from me for one whole hour.(it was supposed to be 1 day but then she gave in after my incessant tantrum throwing+begging)😆

Talking about KKHH, I remember watching it as a ritual everyday during the evening snacks time after the school. The movie was a part of so many peoples’ journey into their adulthood that no wonder it became so iconic! Thank God we didn’t develop that many braincells yet to dissect the movie and destroy the fun of it. 😆

Two of the most embarassing moments of my life

1. This was after plus 2. During new year, out of curiosity tasted alcohol, not tasted I was drunk like a shunk. And had a bad hangover for 2 or 3 days. My mother always warned not to try alcohol as I am alcohol intolerant. My father literally had to drag me out of the club.

2. I was 20 that time and fan of Hrithik and Priyanka and Krish series (that's itself is embarassing). Went to watch Krish 3 with friends w/o telling my parents. It rained heavily that day. When we came out after watching it was waterlogged everywhere and unfortunately I put my scooty keys inside the dicky( I have habit of forgetting things. So I thought if I put my key inside the dicky, I won't forget! Don't know what I was thinking that time).

Then I had to call my father. He came and the rest is history. He didn't say anything about the movie outing, but after reaching home just asked "were you smoking weeds while putting key inside the dicky"! My friends and all my family members still laugh at me for this.

NB: my Hrithik obsession ended that day after that iconic God, Allah song.
