I kept inspecting every ache, pain, scar and blemish and associating them with it. By the time I was at the doctor's office, I had already lost 10 lbs from pure stress and lack of appetite. I gave him the most pathetic, teary eyed look ever and told him that I suspect I might have the big C and to help me, do something... ANYTHING, to put my mind at ease. He didn't know where to even begin. -_-

I'm laughing right now in hindsight and will hopefully never go down that path again but I seriously freaked everyone out with my hypochondriac @$$ including the doc at the time who thankfully was very understanding.... but amused all the same! smiley36

LOL. 😆 Moles can be scary so I can understand. I have a tiny mole/beauty mark on my chest that’s slightly pink in colour. I was literally laying in bed one night when I suddenly remembered the colour and for no single reason at all, I started questioning whether it’s the big C. It’s all thanks to my massive phobia of dying. It’s made me paranoid AF lol.

Apparently, there's a name for it too. Thanataphobia. 😆

I have about 75-100 moles just on my abdomen alone if I bother to count them. It hit me like train last year cuz I never noticed them before.

What also exacerbated is no one in my fam took me seriously .... story of my life. and I gave them a "my tragedy is your comedy, isn't it" look every time they tried to interact with me like I was a normal, healthy human being who wasn't on the brink of death.

Just share the sharable ones.

Cuz there is definitely another list in my head that is completely unsharable and going to the grave with me. And I'm sure others have their own unsharable list too.smiley36smiley36

Bless the relatives who validate your google-confirmed diagnosis. 😆

As soon as you get one person who believes you, then it’s game over. Your paranoia becomes a real life threatening issue. That’s the horrible thing with anxiety. When you’re feeling anxious in a situation, then you look at people around you to see if they feel/look as stressed as you. When they look calm, it’s a good way to recognise that you’re just being anxious over a non-threatening situation. But the moment someone mirrors your concerns, the feeling of panic becomes real.

I don't know which one's better .... having someone supporting your delusions or being laughed at by everyone around you while you lick your wounds by yourself. It sounds like a case of a rock and a hard place to me.😆

How about we go story for story ?

One time when I was 7 I microwaved the remote control. I thought it needed a spark ⚡️ 😆

I was grounded for some weeks 🤣

But the worst thing was we didn’t have any way to change the channel for a while 😆

Lmfao! 😆 That’s so cute and funny. When I was a kid, for some reason we had chickens in our backyard. When one of them laid an egg, I grabbed the egg and took it back inside. I tried sitting on it to keep the egg warm, because I so badly wanted to give birth to a little chick. 🐣

What even....🤣

When I was 9 , I opened the back of the TV (the older TVs used to have this huge dome behind them) to see if there were people sitting inside it. 🤓😆
