90's sharukh, 2000s, hrithik, 2010s Salman and Aamir, 2020s??

Will Khan's dominate or it will be ajay and akki decade??? As both have highest grossers between them, Ajay started of with Tanhaji, and akki entered 2021 with Sooriyavanshi, so 8 years left for the decade to end, equation will bound to change.

At the very least it was SRK and Hrithik who ruled the 2000s (at least until the end when Aamir took over). If Hrithik made smarter choices after his debut he would have likely been the nr.1 but he had some underwhelming movies. Hrithik was better in some years like 2006 but SRK clearly dominated in others (2004, 2007).

Honestly not sure. I have a feeling there won't be any one or two actors who will dominate and instead different actors will have highest grossing movies and be popular (like in the last few years. Hrithik had War, Ajay had Tanhaj etc.).

I just hope SRK makes a comeback (so he is at least in the Top 3 again)

Semi hit or hit isn't the main issue here, it turned out highest grossing bollywood film of the year, which did close to 200 cr net on covid era where restriction and 50% allowed occupancy, in reality it would of done 250 to 300 in normal release situation.

I think lot of it was down to hrithik making very few movies and he disappeared for3 years I think at his peak, He didn't have a release in 2005, 2007 and 2009, that is 3 years he missed in that decade, he could of easily win the decade had he had releases and his film became big hit, Srk at least had 2 releases every year from 2000 to 2009. Akshay kumar came close to overtaking srk had welcome and singh is kingh turned out highest grossers of the year.

Aamir also gave top 3 biggest hit of the decade, after Gadar, it was 3 Idiots, but again he missed 4 good years of the decade, I would say the decade was between hrithik and srk with srk easing it with more number of hits as he had more movies released.

I think Ajay and Akki will continue to remain most active stars and available, akki could of had bigger grossers but he has too many big movies every year that put a dent in collections as he is too overexposed.
