That's more due to the current Andhra Pradesh government's ticket policy. NO Telugu biggie can recover its investment in AP with those prices.

Pushpa makers went ahead with original (and higher) distribution costs hoping things might turn normal concerning rates, but they didn't and hence the refund. Not a reflection of the actual movie's performance.

Just go through Ram Gopal Varma tweets for the past few days. It is a raging issue in Andhra Pradesh. The government is taking the Telugu film industry back to the stone age, unfortunately, with its policies.

BW is finished unfortunately.

Telugu films whenever they release(KGF and some Tamil films),will make more than BW films this year.It is a fact. They also have more money to pay BW Trade handles-and they in turn will continue to promote South films..and we will see the complete takeover by south...Which seems to be just fine with Salman,SRK,Akki fans🤔.They are celebrating Pushpa success as if it was their own film!
