Some of you guys are so healthy! I aspire to be like that someday. I am very repetitive with my food. My good days are all the same and my bad days are all the same.

Breakfast

No food

Cold brew coffee with a splash of almond milk. No sweetener ever. If Starbucks sweetens it by mistake I dump the whole thing.

Lunch

No food

Dinner

Depending on when I come home I eat my meal anywhere from 4-8:30 pm. It's a step by step process

If I eat sabji then it must have a fish curry. If not, I won't eat it and veggies are dead to me.

I eat a lot of daal but either with spinach, egg, or my fav, which is fish curry. I am picky with fish I only eat certain Bengali fishes. They come with come with passport to prove their origin.

If there is chicken curry then I will eat it with my "roti". I do not have the luxury of fresh rotis because girl can't make any so I buy the low carb, low calorie tortillas and use that as my roti.

I also use that to eat my shrimp fajita that I make. It's low calorie so to balance it out I have a tub of sour cream on the side.

No matter how my meal goes lately it always ends it a slice of toasted multi-grain bread with lots of butter. The good expensive butter and a bowl of fresh fruit (mixed berries or mango. All other fruits are dead to me) with either yogurt or crème fraiche. I need something creamy with my fruit other wise it doesn't feel like a dessert, feels like I am being punished.

On my bad days

If I am being bad then I am eating Chicken Shawarma and French fries. Usually it is a weekly affair.

There is another type of bad eating that I do. It's when there is biryani at home and until it is gone I will find a way to eat it for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack. There are very few things I love in life as much as I love biryani. ❤️❤️

I also dream about pasta in my sleep but I keep it a dream. I always worry just inhaling it will take me back to those days when I used to eat pasta everyday.

So you basically follow OMAD plan? I try that at least twice every week and twice every week I do complete fasting- like proper 24 hour water fasting. The remaining 3 days I do 18/6 Intermittent.

On a completely different note though, is it just me who starts humming ‘rimjhim gire saawan, Sulag sulag jaaye mann...’ as soon as they see Rimjhim? ☺️😆

🤗you don't know how happy that made me!! It's my fav song and that's why I have the name 😆

I do OMAD almost unintentionally because I hate packing lunch to work. I do 16:8 the two days I am home. Wow! Really amazed you can do weekly 24 hour water fast 👍🏼. The handful of times I tried it, my day ended with headaches and tears. I do try to do a prolonged fast to heal my body. Usually aim for 72 but always end up quitting a little before 48 hours.

😲 What type of activities do you do after waking up at 3 am? Asking as someone who currently wakes up at 6 and is trying to make it 5 am.

Grew up Skinny fat( skinny but little to no shape, muscle)...the prototypical Indian body. Blame the Carb heavy Indian diet at my home. Roti, Chawal, Cow's milk, Paranthas because anything cooked in less oil is "healthy". As I started getting into fitness & nutrition I've almost completely stopped eating Indian food except when I visit my parents, then I really binge on those Rajma Chawal.

Typical Day

7 AM: Spinach + Berries Smoothie with a touch of coconut oil. A shot of ACV.

10 AM: Coffee with 2 Creams

12 PM: A Handful of nuts + A couple of Cheese slices

2 PM: Turkey Sandwich made with Ezekiel bread

5 PM: Green Tea, 2 Boiled eggs

7 PM: Grilled Chicken, Avocado Salad or Tuna Salad or a Burrito Bowl/Shawarma Salad if I don't feel like cooking.

9 PM: If I feel hungry before bed which I usually do usually a couple tablespoons of Peanut Butter. Also keeps the sweet cravings at bay.

Glad to see so many proponents of IF, it's really a game changer for many. I'll do it for a couple a months a year. It's almost miraculous the things your body can do when its not busy digesting food all day especially the prolonged fasts. PCOS, Epilepsy, Diabetes even Cancer cells were destroyed in some studies(by your own body).
