Maybe she has a hungry child at home, a handicapped jobless husband and is the sole breadwinner of the family like they show in the movies and TV shows

Does she know there is a camera 😆

I agree with @cutejodikangal’s post above

Maybe you can try dropping hints gently and let her know that this kind of behavior would not be tolerated... If it continues try warning her directly but tactfully...

isnt stealing out of need, habitual kind of. she never knew cameras were installed. has done it before in her previous work places too. told her that her act has been caught on cam. she apologized

It depends on the item they stole. But stealing is still bad so I would surely confront them and if it's something valuable I would definitely fire them! Ain't gonna keep a thief in my house

If it’s just food, who cares. Anybody that comes to my house is welcome to my fridge and my food. Besides, maybe they were hungry or needed to feed their family, I don’t know which country we’re talking about here. But If it was like jewelry or money or something thats valuable, then that’s problematic

I would let him go....no ifs and buts....because if they can steal today...they might do something bigger tomorrow...

I don't have house help here...but I had when I was in India...and I treated them really well.....and made sure that they can come to me with their problems....but even after that if someone stole...that would be it for me....you lose my trust...u can't be back in my home...

So she’s a habitual stealer (Was she fired bcz of that)

Then you’re in a pickle, a bind, a conundrum

Old habits die hard... But as others have said if it’s just food every now and then or even often, It’s okay...

Only you can decide

wen u r given a decent salary, proper breakfast and still u steal, its bad. any which ways, stealing is not done. even if they steal a small item, they lose ur trust.

What if you offered them food for whatever meals they are there for? So if they are there during breaky and lunch then give them take home containers with portions of those 2 meals. If it's junk food and snacks they are stealing then purchase an extra one for them. If they are still stealing after all that then they are a problem and should be let go.
