My point was why is SRK's heritage always brought up when he has never claimed any ancestral link with Pakistan. His parents were Indian, he was born in India. Akshay has a canadian citizenship - yet he is never questioned about it or asked rhetorical questions with underlying questions about his patriotism or his indian-ism. That was my point.

I thought the same when I saw her UN and the first line of her post. Since a lot of Afghans do like to claim him out of love. But now I realised it was the opposite. She might be horrified to know that Mugda sounds very similar to an Afghan name pronounced ‘Mughda/Mozhda’. 😆

He will NOT. I believe he clearly said so in his biography- as per a poster on this thread itself.

And why the topic derailed? Because of another poster called Mugdha who insisted that he has to go back to Afghanistan because of his roots.

**Just thought I will do a quick sum up for the late comers who cannot be bothered to skim through the whole thread.**
